Looking for CS recommendations after an AK day

We are heading to AK in January for one of our park days and will be having a Tusker House lunch. What would be your recommendations for dinner at a CS restaurant after a day at AK? We would like to have the full day at the park, so we will stay to close but don't want to eat before the park closes (at 5:30 I believe). Do restaurants stay open later in the parks if they are CS? I am thinking they don't. What would be a good alternative to eating at our own resort food court. We will have the dining plan. We would be traveling anywhere with Disney transportation. We have never been to Disney and we are fairly adventurous eaters. Thanks for any suggestions!

Go to Disney Springs for the Wolfgang Puck CS or Earl of Sandwich.

You can take a bus to AKL and transfer for DS.

I hadn't thought of DS! That could be a good reason to check it out, we have no plans to see it otherwise.

You can take a bus to AKL and transfer for DS.

Or even take a bus to Saratoga Springs and walk over to Disney Springs. Get off at the Congress Park area of SSR and its about a 15 minute walk to Marketplace.

If you aren't staying at the Animal Kingdom lodge, I would recommend you going to AKL after your day at AK. Take a self tour of the hotel and have dinner in their food court area.
Of if you aren't sold on eating at Tusker House, eat a CS at AK and have dinner at Boma inside AKL.

If you do Disney Springs my votes are for Puck Express (the one in the Marketplace by the Christmas shop) or if you like pub food Cooke's of Dublin. The fish & chips I had at Cooke's the last 2 trip were better than those I had at Raglan Road and Rose & Crown (which was my favorite until they change a few trips ago). DH also enjoyed his chicken and beef pies. They were hot at Cooke's which wasn't the case our last 2 R & C visits.
