Looking for countdown ideas...

We're taking a trip to WDW the first week of December. It will be DH, myself, 8 year old DS, and 4 year DD. Grandparents are also going. I would like to begin a fun countdown and am in need of ideas. The kids know we're going,and they have been before. Thanks!

We usually do a countdown chain. DW makes Mickey Heads and I get the kids assorted disney stickers to decorate them. We number them and put a ribbon / yarn through it. Usually just the last 30 days now, we tried 100 days and I was the lone person doing it most weeks!

Last year i printed two months prior blank calendars off the web and put them on top of construction paper and stuck it to my daughters door. Put a Mickey Mouse sticker on the day we left for Disney. I bought her a pad of stickers from the dollar store and every evening we would put a sticker in that days square to count down the days that had past. It is still actually on her door (we went last May). So I am going to just print two new calendars for this year to count down for our trip in December.
