Cammie- Badookie's birthday is the 14th we are having his party on the 18th. We just had no idea on what to get him. I did decide on the water table and some puzzles I think we are going to get him a basketball hoop and tent/tunnel thing. That will be enough because my parents spoil him. The are buying him a slide/playhouse and a ton of other things. I am feeling well I just can't wait to see the doctor on Tuesday and get a script for the reflux.
How are the girls? How are you? Sick of this weather yet?

Debbie- Sorry I miss DP last night DS is getting more teeth and everything is "Mum, MUM" AHHHHHH What about "DADA DADA"?

Well I am getting my hair Higlighted today and cut then a brow wax and dinner w/ My Mum. So I will be on to chat later and DP

Jillian, hope Badookie has a fun party! Our DGS's 1st Bday is tomorrow. I need to go birthday shopping today. His other grandma buys tons of stuff and then brags about it at the party (at least the baby shower and bridal shower were like that) My MIL does it, too. I'm not getting dragged into the "competition." I'm just going to spend what I do on the other babies and it will have to be enough. It's not like he'll know anyway.

Hello Buddies!

OK, the house is ready to go - CHECK!!!! The inlaws should be here in an hour or so and the SIL and her clan probably around 4ish. I won't be here for DP tonight, but I sure wish I could!

Dog at the kennel - CHECK! I just crack myself up! This might be it until I come to you LIVE from WDW. I just hope I can do it! Depends on what kind of connection we have in the room. I forgot - there ARE hairdryers in the rooms, right?

My check list is getting longer as I walk around the house. I can leave a messy house, I can leave a messy house. :rotfl2.

It is nice out so I have kicked DH to the garage and told him to clean it. And DD is outside until dinner. I will have everything ready to go because I work tomorrow and I am going to crack up. All is good.

Hope to post a couple of pix from WDW. Looks like we will do the internet at least for one day.

Hey guys -

It didn't get too bad her last night. A lot of lightning and thunder, but pretty non-eventful. It is sad, we go through this so much, we've become a little desensitive to the whole tornado thing. With the kids though, you really do feel that you need to stay up and keep them safe though. We've already spent way too much time in the closet this year already!

DS's birthday party is tomorrow. Family is coming in from Ohio and from a few counties over, so it should be fun. DSIL is coming down tonight, so we are going to take her to my fav place to eat.

Off to get ready for them. I will read the posts later, I just wanted to let you know I wasn't blown away or avoiding you guys!

Looks like I am too late today for some of you! I REALLY wanted to wish Kara a great trip! Can't wait to hear from her while she is ON the trip. Laura pix from your trip while you are on the trip would be SO AWESOME!!! I rarely DIS from our WDW trips because I am so wiped out at night but I bet I can do it from Naples! Oh wait I don't have a computer in Naples but maybe my cousin will.
I got my bathroom done and will check in here after each room is tackled. You guys are my incentive!

On the CB note...WOW I got caught up in all that last night since I was basically DPing by myself at certain points of the evening. OK I wasn't drunk. I just had metal to the brain.....I lurked and lurked and like Cammie said WOW it's a whole different world over there. I even lurked at the "other" board too. NO I did not register, post or anything close but again WOW!!! It was very addicting to keep reading the back and forth chatter from both sides. They even were saying that the thread I posted actually lasted as long as it did because all the mods and masters were at Bawb's funeral . Email me at my sbc address for more scoop. Like Tammie said people are getting banned left and right and they seem to know why but others don't believe it.......
Jillian...I feel so bad for you with that reflux! I have heard horror stories of how awful it feels. Good luck!
Tammie...I am sure they love and appreciate everything you do for them. My Mom spoils my kids 10X more then my in-laws but they have 10 grandkids! It never really bothers me at all. The only thing that would bother me early on was when they gave a "check" to them when they were at the age where they liked to open gifts. Now I kind of don't care because they do have so much that the money is nice! The Grandma-in-law is smart enough now to give money with a little something for them to open. My Mom has only 2! That makes a big difference. Plus, my Mom lives with us and lastly NEVER would bring attention to her gift giving. Everyone gives what they feel is appropriate and should be appreciated for whatever it is, right? Look at all you DO for them too!

I am up for DP tonight since I will be cleaning all day and DH is golfing!

Well, I read it and it's quite interesting. This theory has been mentioned before - but it's much more detailed in the link. A little confusing, but I got most of it and it does make alot of sense!

It's been a wacky day here. I've had a disagreement with one of DD's nurses; huge arguement with my DB; and had to scold DD over the phone. I think alot of people are hating me right now! I will so need DP tonite!

I don't do the podcasts either; but on Monday, a post on that board stood out - "A very sad day...". I opened it; it was from Webmaster Kevin (I think) - evidently Bob wasn't feeling well - thought he had food poisoning; his wife came home a few hours later and found that he had passed away. They still don't know what happened. He was young too - only 56. It's so sad reading all of the posts over there.

Debbie, I'll email you. I did some of the spa stuff today after cleaning out the flower beds - it felt so good! Thank you for your encouraging words - makes me feel like I've had a hug! I really don't feel bad about what I do for the kids, just get irritated by that kind of behavior. And, like I told DH today at lunch, because of my MIL, everyone acts like I'm not even the grandma, and he doesn't even hardly know me....but that will change when they move back!

Cammie, I saw your post on the Bawb thread. What a beautiful tribute! I listened to the podcasts once, and I really don't know who he was, but it looks like he was a special guy who was much loved.

Sorry you've had a difficult time with so many people! I thought you had a boyfriend, too! Thought you found someone to have that fairytale wedding with and then dump!

I talked to my DSIS yesterday - she was at AK!! She's there with her DH and 4 girls. Staying at the Mariott Cypress ? time share - said they are really happy with it. She said she was afraid to go on EE, cuz she didn't want the big drop! Today, she called from her resort to ask about DTD - she was watching an otter swim in the right behind their room. I'm not jealous or anything!

I guess Kara and Laura will be there when she is! So if you see a smallish blonde with a freckeled, strawberry blonde DH (med ht) and 4 girls, 2 are teens and the other two are small at 9 and 11 - All blonde and very fair - say hi to my DSIS!

Good bye Kara and Laura!!! Have a Great Trip! Kara, don't let those ILs give you a hard time! Can't wait to see pics when you get back!
