Looking For Control Freaks & Worry Warts too........ Part 2

You'll be so proud of me! I've got DH seriously talking about buying a DVC resale!!!! Looks like BWV are one of the most expensive though as far as annual maintenance dollars go. Aside from Vero Beach (we thought that might be a good "home" resort since we live so near both WDW and the beach!). But Vero Beach is over $6.00 per point for maintenance (or whatever the annual stuff is called!).

However, the selling cost per point is much lower for Vero Beach and Hilton Head. And even BWV has some selling low. Decisons, decisions......

Do you find the DDE is a better deal than the DDP?

First of all - YEAH on the DVC!:woohoo:

The DDP isn't a good deal for me now that my youngest is 12. She would be charged as an adult and she doesn't really eat that much. And, honestly, many times she & I will split an adult CS lunch or I'll order a child CS lunch. For me, I think getting the DDP would make me eat more that I usually would. What I like about the DDE - I'll get a discount on whatever I order - alcohol included! Big selling point!:thumbsup2

Wow! Chatty...chatty..... See that's why I always want to be here!!!
Thanks for voting me tribal leader but Ozzie says if I'm a leader I am in danger!:scared1:

Cammie ...........it does go to show you know one reads our thread!:rotfl2:
Sorry DD is sick. As leader I order you both to stay in your jammies all day!!!!

I don't really know how to give advice on the planning of the days because after we get our ADRs we always revolve everything around that and my Mom always hooks us up with our ADRs. Plus, every person/ kids are different(morning people, nite owls, naps, no naps).

We only do two ADRs a day too because it is so much food. If we do a breakfast then we book a dinner. If we do a lunch it's an early lunch with a late dinner....does that make sense...............

I tried to put my Naples, Florida ticker in but it was taking alot of space up.

I better go. We will be off to the YMCA to lose some energy!

Did I tell you guys I bought myself the new adult line of clothes at Disneyshopping.com? It is TOO cute & I got 25% off. You have to check it out. The sweatshirt says.....BELIEVE! It has a 70's kind of feel to it!

Have a great day girls! Hopefully I will be back tonight.

Maybe one day my weather ticker will have sunshine in it!

I love Ozzie! And James - hey, anytime someone admits to being a gravedigger????? And how bout the "ice cream scooper?"

They need to get rid of Parvati and Amanda though. They are leeches IMHO!

Ummm - ladies, take this talk to the Survivor thread; the rest of us don't know what the heck you're talking about! (allright - I feel left out!)

Actually that's how I usually plan my days also. My ADRs dictate what park I'm going to and when. I usually just do dinner ADRs; we are just not morning people - although I do love breakfast.

I picked up some things for myself and DD a few weeks ago - got 30% off and $5 shipping!:yay: It's cool now - my DD can fit into XS ladies' shirts - she considers them more stylish.

Yeah, once I ordered from disneyshopping.com they had my number! Now they send me all those emails - "free shipping today only" or "$5 shipping on orders over $50" - and I seem to order all the time! They are so on to me!!!!

Now I have to go to the nearest Disney Store this weekend (on the other side of Jacksonville, the largest city in the nation in land mass!!!!) to exchange some crocs I got that were the wrong color. Pink looks like orange, yuck!!!

I got myself a Cap'n Jack tshirt for $4.99. Gotta love it!!!!

Ohhhh, Food Rocks is playing now - that is one I really miss!!!!!

Did y'all see the cute Disney personalized lounge chair covers? Hmmm......

I just personalized an Ariel swim coverup, very cute for DD, then I logged off. I just do NOT need anything else!!!!

I run up stairs to change the sheets and man I miss a lot.

Cammie would love to help you with the spectro and wishes. I haven't seen them either. DH isn't one to stay at parks late. He HATES crowds. Hopefully the new meds he's on will help with that.

I saw that crocs were mentioned, which leads me to my next planning delema. (I can't spell today) Okay I have all of the clothing figured out for me and DD. DH can fend for himself, okay so not really but that's what I am telling myself right now.

What shoes to wear? :scared: I have watched the Disney planning video repeatedly trying to get a good look at what people wear on their feet when it gets warm. I told you I am obsessive compulsive. :) I am planning on bringing my really comfy walking shoes but they look horrible with my clothes. I got some new lands end treaking strappy sandels yesterday. I am wearing them around the house to break them in. I have a pair of crocs that are reserved for the yard.

On the same topic how do you cut your moleskins. I have read those are really the best at helping places where your shoes rub.

Yes, we are pretty chatty today! I'm stuck in the house with a sick kid and pouring rain outside. I've stepped up from my pj's to an oversize Pooh fleece sweatshirt and sweats. I keep checking the thread every half hour and seem to miss a bunch of posts!

I'll put my two cents in regarding shoes for Disney. I always used to wear just really comfortable walking sneakers; but, like you, hated the way they looked with my outfits! Truly, I hated every picture of me from Disney because of what I was wearing on my feet! In addition to that, my feet were always so HOT!

So I went on a search for something else. Now, I was never a flip flop girl before - that strap between my toes would really bother me. But someone suggested Teva flipflops so I gave them a try. Soooo comfortable! Go to Teva.com; the style I'm talking about is "Mush" - like walking on air! I usually bring 2-3 pair and alternate; have also gotten them for my DD - she loves them too. She'll also wear crocs - they don't seem to bother her. I've never tried them; think they also look real funny on my feet. I need to look my best when at Disney. Whatever you choose, popular opinion seems to be that you should definitely switch shoes every couple of days!

Laura, first of all, I'm bringing 3 pairs of Crocs this year (one pair of the minnie janes, and 2 beach) because I wore them at Universal last month and was soooo comfy!! Plus, I love the way they dry after water rides (or rain, heaven forbid!). I wore my nice broken in New Balance sneakers to MK the night before and my legs and feet were sore the next morning. I finally have DH wearing his crocs around the house, and gradually out on walks and to the pool, too. I think he's coming round. He just hates the way they look.

In 2006 I wore sneakers, sandals, and even flip flops one day. I just don't have a big problem with shoes. I've never needed moleskin either (although for some strange reason I have packed it for this trip!).

I'm so bummed out that DD has that ear thing (can't really call it an ear infection cause it's not infected :confused3 ) because I'd love to be at the pool right now! Instead I'm sitting in the backyard on a lounge chair, with my laptop, an icy beverage (nothing good :sad2: ) by my side, with my wireless headset on to take incoming calls (haven't had a call in over 2 hrs!).

With all the REALITY TV you watch you don't watch Survivor???????????

Good deal! When was that? I got free shipping because of course I spent over 75.00!

Oh I forgot to thank you Kara for the awesome lime green Mickey head! The problem is I will have to get special ink as well since mine always print kelly green.
Thanks again!

You can modify the color in Microsoft paint to a nasty pond slime green. That made mine print out in a lime hue.

Yeah, I just don't know why mine doesn't print lime green - it definitely looks lime green on the screen.

DD is sitting here with me playing Webkinz online. All she's interested in is buying things for her dog - like paint for the dog's room, etc. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!!!! :rotfl2:

I don't watch alot of REALITY TV; I just watch alot of TV!;) Honestly I think the only reality shows are watch are American Idol, Dancing w/the Stars, and Jon & Kate. Oh wait - AND Wife Swap and Supernanny. Is that alot?

Good deal! When was that? I got free shipping because of course I spent over 75.00!

It was about 2 weeks before Easter, I think. I had gotten a code for 30% off site-wide, plus the code for $5 shipping. Got four shirts and a MM skin for DD's ipod - $60!
