Renee - Was it Max and Erma's? We used to like that place when we were in Ohio. No more Golden Corral down here!!! I felt like I WAS in a corral with these people!

YES! Best Chicken Salad I have EVER eaten! Also, the banana cream pie was to DIE FOR! Love that place!!!!

Cammie - thanks for hte smile!!! Love the pics! Hope that Ms. Amanda is feeling better today. Nicolas is constantly snotty today and saying his throat hurts. LOVELY - soccer game tomorrow in the AM - will be chilly. I mention not going and he freaks. I'm making a big pot of soup for him - hopefully that will help.

Renee- how is everyone? We will now be going to Disney in May for Badookies birthday. We are going to try to sneak a trip in before that but maybe to bahamas or something likke that

We're all good. Our May trip will be that first weekend I am thinking. Same thing, I figure I'll catch Nicolas birthday while we are there.

We're tired here. We've been waiting, waiting, wating on a job offer for it seems like months. They approached him, they want him, just everything is "Monday" and "Monday" turns into "Thurs" etc. Still no written offer, but they had him drug test -

We're bone tired - how tire is that? Um, try my poor husband got up this morning, put toothpaste on his toothbrush and started to brush his teeth. Thankfully the toothbrush started vibrating and he looked at it again - why? BECAUSE HIS TOOTHBRUSH DOESN"T VIBRATE BUT HIS RAZOR DOES ! He almost shaved his teeth and lips off. Clear sign you need more sleep!

So much to do, so little time. We're battening down hatches. We're trying to find money in places, etc. If he does take this job, there is a large potential that he could be off work for at least a month if his present employer enforces the non compete contract he signed. It will be okay, but we just need to be a little more "focused".

So that is what I'm up to - that and laundry. We get to go visit the inlaws tomorrow. LOVELY! I must admit that was my idea - they wanted to come here. My house is so not ready for a pop in inlaw visit!

except his has more cool things - like 20 cans of play-doh. What is my first reaction? HE IS MIXING THE COLORS I'm letting him do it, but the inner nut ball in me is SCREAMING Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Hope Nicolas is feeling better! That and Carlos' job. This whole thing is scary. I'm finally starting to "get it" I think, and I think it's gonna be a whole lot worse before it gets better out there.

Jeff hasn't seen a commission check in about 5 months - the car market is DEAD!!! So it's definitely starting to hit home here.

So last night we went out to eat - Taco Night at the clubhouse, 3 tacos for $3. Can't beat that!!!!

They have 2 for 1 beers at happy hour. Jeff and I always forget to just order one, and they bring us two..... so as we were asking for the check, our server asked if we wnted our other beer. Well, of course we do!!! So I asked her if we could get them in plastic cups "to go." Yes, I ordered beer to go! AND SHE DID IT!!!!! She knew we drove the golf cart up, but it still cracks me up!!! I've never ordered a beer to go before!

Tonight we're watching the kids next door while their parents go out to eat. So I'm gonna run to the store and pick up pizza fixins and let the kids all make their own pizza. That oughtta keep them outta my hair for awhile! Actually, really good kids, but anytime you get 3 kids together, you always have odd man out, so that's the only problem.

Oh, and I won a beautiful Belle Christmas gown with the cloak on ebay!!! I'm so excited! I was looking at paying about $115 if I got it new, but I got it used, but looks in great shape, for $36 for both pieces!!!!

So now I'm selling the yellow Belle dress and shoes that Ally wore at WDW in May. I washed it up when we got back and it looks brand spankin new. And she only wore the shoes for about an hour. Just long enough for pictures.... Hopefully I'll get decent money for this one.

Boy do we know about jobs and Money here I have been adjusting but just as I save a little something else pops up and Poof it's gone. Yesterday we dropped Mike's truck off for repair and we get a phone call that he needs a new ball joint and 250 later poof there went this weeks savings.

Well boring day here we had a play date and then to my mom's.Mike is gone for 48 hours for work so it's just me and badookie and I'm already exhausted.

Busy days I tell ya! I am just running and running! Matthew's speech stuff, Elizabeth's school stuff, Daisy leader stuff, park district craft class, YMCA swimming and gymnastics, School Parent drama, school board meeting, and it goes on and on as ALL of you ladies well know and understand!

I"m here today - it's NEXT Saturday that Ally and I will be at AK. I have a crazy feeling that all we're gonna do is ride EE over and over. and over. and over.

But I want to do some different things. Like see Flights of Wonder. And she has never been to Conservation Station - I haven't been for 10 year! So it should be good.

Welcome Jenroc! Please stay around and play with us! We all love to plan, too! That way we can control our plans I just used a TA for our Mexico trip so we would have connections in the US should something happen. Actually I am really glad, because their connections really helped us out, even though we had to remind her to get seats on our flights for us, and then she got crappy ones and was surprised that we expected her to know we need good ones. As for Disney, I always do it myself - I even bough TGM, then the website was making me crazy, so I did my own plan - Love the Passporter! Come back and tell us about your plans!

Well, I'm finally going to the doctor today to figure out what is up with my leg! It will be fine for a couple of days, and then just hurts when I move a certain way. Plus, I've found a doctor close to home finally. I was driving 1/2 hour just to a family physician, recommended by a friend who used to live here.

But I called the doctor I've been seeing to call in a new prescription for me, and they never called back. They did call in the prescription because I just happened to be at the pharmacy and I checked on it, but they never called to let me know. OH, and they told the pharmacist to let me know I need to have blood work done. What's up with that? That's when I decided to find a new doctor.

Laura - how is Tim doing? You sound frazzled. Take my advice. Wine. Bath. Ya can't beat the two together!

I was so embarassed this morning! Ally's teacher sent out an email yesterday reminding parents that today is picture day. But the order form that they sent home didn't have any pricing on it! So I emailed her back and told her that. She called me this morning and told me the pricing was on the back. But it wasn't! Somehow we got a copy of the order form that had no pricing listed anywhere! I looked. Jeff looked. I even showed it to another mom at the bus stop this morning and she agreed we got a copy with no pricing! But I just know that Ally's teacher thinks I'm an idiot!

OK, I"m sitting at my desk right now in my office and there are about 8 turkey walking through my front yard! I took this pic but when I opened the front door Bucky started barking and the turkeys were on the run!

OMG! You have thanksgiving dinner right out your front door! When are you going to the doc? It sounds like you need a new family doc - that "tell her to get a blood test" thing is really unethical.

debbie seeing those pix of the family really makes me want to jump on a plane and go hide in the bushes around Cindy's castle.

I am a little stressed. I HATE open office. I get the whole linux thing. Free ware great. Open source code even better. Not giving moneyt to Microsoft fantastic!! Just make the stupid stuff work. I have spent the last 2 hours trying to get a margin to fit on a godforsaken excel-like document. I know excel like the back of my hand. I have been called a power user. AGHHHH!!! I'm sure you could hear that scream all the way to Disney. Where is my fairy godmother? I want to go to a ball and not be here. Okay rant over. I have taken a deep breath.

Headed to bed-- thank the lord for my DVR. I can watch something without the political ads. Talk to everyone tomorrow.

I don't know what you're doing, but I really hate learning new word processing programs - they never do what I want - I used to say I just wanted an old IBM typewriter and a dial phone!

Hi girls, It's a chilly morning here, again. I haven't put my heat on yet so it feels like fall in my house, too. I am watching the DVC show that was on the travel channel. Did you guys see the place they are building in Hawaii? It looks awesome.

Oh, I want to see that one! I am definately looking forward to DVC in HI!

It's cold here, too. We came back from 93 deg with 90% humidity to 60 deg, windy and raining.

Oh, I hear ya! Myles, who you remember is not my son, got a set like that for Christmas, and I was making rules to his parents that he couldn't mix the colors. If any of it gets left on the table for a few minutes, I run over and quickly clean up and separate the colors... at least you are letting YOUR SON do his own creative thing!

I'm here now...
I am pooped! We got up early and headed up north to go apple picking, to the pumpkin patch and to the farm, all out by our place in Mukwonago. Great weather but I am tired now and the kids have colds.

Tomorrow Mark has a golf outing and I have the dinner. It's a fundraiser for a friend of a friend who's wife died very young leaving three little ones. Very sad!

Jillian! So glad Mike is okay. I'm glad you're working things out. You will find that with alot of communication, you'll be closer than before. It's important to take a step back and really hear the other person's heart. If you are both willing to do that, everything else falls in to place. You will be so glad you did the work to make your family a happy one!

Besides, it seems like people who break up find the same problems the next time, too - so you might as well get this one trained!

Finally got a second to sit down and say hello. Yesterday I spent the entire day cleaning up the girls' rooms and getting them situated. We went to IKEA and bought desks, chairs and mirrors and then went to Target and got lamps. The rooms are still clean - believe it or not and so is the playroom (which was moved down cellar). I think the separation has actually reduced the amounts of fights the girls are having!!

DH just told me the we might - emphasis on the word might - be going to Disney next August!!! please, please, please. Otherwise we're not scheduled to go until August 2010. I'm not going to get excited about it. But, I am going to keep my fingers crossed. I think we'll keep it a surprise for the girls.

Hope all of you are enjoying this Sunday, before Monday comes it the craziness starts all over again.

I had a lazy morning on the DIS and TGM - I still want to be on vacation - and then got some cleaning done, went with DH to see his 'rents, then came home and made a turkey dinner for all my kids, then off to an evening appt. I went to bed too early, fell asleep with the light on, TV on, computer on my lap and headphones in - I was watching last week's Desperate Housewives so I could catch up on this week - well, I woke up like that at 2am and can't go back to sleep - nice start to my day

Happy Monday everyone - I'm going to put this computer down and try to make myself sleep.
