Looking For Control Freaks & Worry Warts too (Part 2)

Hey all! I probably won't be on tonight since I DP'd last night. Not much D to my P though!

Lisa - we usually stay at a Superclubs resort when we go - Jamaica is our "grown up" vacation so we do the adults only resorts. We're talking about doing an all-inclusive in Cancun with Ally some time. But I Sandals and Superclubs both have great family resorts - Breezes and Beaches - that are supposed to be nice. We almost did that this year (but then we got transferred last fall and all plans died off !) but we were torn between Jamaica and Cancun. For some reason I really want to go to Turks and Caicos - I think there's a Superclubs resort there, too. I just love the whole all-inclusive thing!

I talked to my dad today and he doesn't want us to spend that kind of money to come up there - luckily he was in a good mood, he's getting so grumpy as he gets older! At Christmas he commented that I needed to come home more because when HE was my age he made sure he traveled to see his mother twice a year - yeah, right! Just really grumpy. But if I can't find something in the next couple of weeks I may just fly my mom down here - she's grumpy too but when they are here alone they're not as bad. That's why I'm just not going to get old!

Jillian - sounds like a good day yesterday - I know what you mean about missing Badookie - I love my "alone" time but I miss Ally so much. Jeff's parents want her for a week this summer and I know I'll hate it!

Anxiously waiting to see SATC next week. I'm trying to avoid the TV because I don't want them to spoil it for me.

Came to work a little for my trip. Hopefully I will get some things done. Not too much, still need to rest. Feeling like things are turning around, but still sickly. I think I will be fine by Wed.

Lauren has been bugging me for a long time to go on Match.com - I think it's embarassing. But now I'm having second thoughts. Oh well! Do any of you guys know of any available men?

So I spent a good part of my morning getting into it with a couple of posters over on the Nov.hours watch thread. These guys were being so thoughtless to the rest of the posters who were upset about not knowing the hours. I got baited in. I then get a pm from another poster who tells me she's reported one of the guys to the moderator! She thinks they're just there to cause trouble and she's sorry I took the bait but she wanted me to know that she had no problem with my posts and thought I held my own. Oh the drama! These guys were so arrogant though; and they were in cahoots together. Anyway, I haven't seen a post from them since.

So, I guess, based on that experience, I think men suck! Is it any wonder I don't want to join a dating service?

Basically these posters were mocking the others for being upset there were no hours posted - i.e. "you don't need hours to book your adrs". One of them was even arrogant enough to say " what's the big deal? If you can't do what you want, there's always next year." You know, fine - they're entitled to their opinion. But some people on that thread are genuinely upset because this is their big trip to Disney and they don't know what they're doing. I just didn't understand; if you don't care about the park hours, then don't bother those of us that do. But this arguement went in a whole other direction and I folllowed it. They were such jerks about it.

That's what I don't get. There are such brats out there! A whole bunch who were banned made aliases and came back just to pick fights. They think everyone are babies but really like you said "why post?" Just to be mean???

What's interesting is that one of the posters said in his posts that he's just there to cause trouble - he likes it. That's why another poster reported him and then pm'ed me about it. She wasn't happy with him at all!

Cammie you need to come south to find a gentleman. Seriously. I am sure there are bad southerners out there like everywhere else, but I never met a decent, gentleman when I lived in PA. Down here I was surprised when I first started dating (17 yrs ago) after I moved here that most dates brought me flowers, held my door, took me to a nice restaurant, called back, etc, etc. I think I only ever had one bad date. Of course, one of those gentlemen is now my DH, but now he doesn't do that stuff anymore!

Sure. I read somewhere about many people getting banned from the DIS. I do know of one person who is pretty nasty. Can't remember his name off the top of my head, but I hope he was one. It was who you mentioned.
