We will be in Orlando 11/27-12/5 and are thinking that we would like to try renting a condo for the first 2 nights of our trip. The remaining time we will be onsite. I'm looking for any neighborhoods that have decent condo's that are priced reasonably. We don't need to be super close to WDW because we will probably not attempt to go on Friday or Saturday since that is the end of thanksgiving week. If anyone has any suggestions - I would really appreciate it.

Looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom condo/townhouse to rent for 2 nights.
A community pool would be great too. Doesn't have to be that close to Disney. Thanks.

That's going to be tough as they are mostly rented by the week (Sat to Sat). Nonetheless, you can still try to contact the owners directly at vacationcentralflorida.com. They have fantastic prices for their gorgeous units at Windsor Hills (condos and townhomes). When they cannot sell off a week, I usually get an email as I'm on their mailing list, and the offer the week for $200 or so. So, it's worth a shot if they need to unload it that badly. They may tell you that you need to rent it for the week, but if it's that low, you may still want to go ahead with it, even though it's only for a couple of nights. Their website is definitely worth checking out, and they are very close to the Maingate area of Disney. They are the actual owners of the units (not a management company), and Dave Robinson is one of them who runs the website, but you would be put in touch with the actual unit owner of whatever unit you choose. They are very nice and not out to rip anyone off.

you need to rent from someone who has a timeshare with the point system. They can rent out points, not weeks. I found someone thru redweek.com. I cannot state his info here, but I think if you pm me, I am allowed to give you his info.. if not, you can just look on redweek yourself.. but to contact the owners without a link, you have to pay to join.. of which I did.. but it was worth the $15 for the year.

Several options for those 2 nights:

Cypress Pointe, Tuscana, Lighthouse Key, Orbit One, Vista Cay

You may have to pay a cleaning fee for some because the reservation is less than a week (I know Tuscana and Vista Cay for sure you do) but I know Cypress Pointe you do not and you could get if for a little over $80/night including tax.
