Looking for condo rental... ideas?

Hey folks,

Last year when I went to WDW, we rented a house. Next year it will just be two of us, so we're thinking of renting a smaller condo or townhome. I found our house last year through www.orlandovillas.com - does anyone know of a similar site for condo rentals (or threads that you could point me to)? Ideally we're looking for something with a fairly low rate, so if anyone has recommendations, that would be great too. I know a little tiny bit about Skyauction, but not very much

You might consider renting DVC points and staying at Old Key West. Depending on the time of year, it can be very reasonable to rent a 1 bedroom. It has a King sized bed in the master, with a 2 person jacuzzi.

We're renting a 2 bedroom this November, and it's costing us about $1200 for five nights. It is on-site so you can take advantage of early entry and e-ride nights, but it is away from hustle and bustle. Check out the DVC boards.

2 and 3 bedroom condos at Windsor Palms and maybe some others, I'm not sure.

I used retalo.com. You enter the information regarding what you want and they e-mail you offers. It was fun looking through all the offers. It also was interesting to see the different prices for condos in the same complex. It allowed me to get the best deal.

It is a nice site that lets you search.

Condos at Windsor Palms have a very nice reputation and a pretty good location.

In the a past we stayed at Villas at Sommerset. These are a little older and just south off 192 east of Disney. Easy to Disney via Osceola Parkway. If you search Yahoo for "villas at sommerset kissimmee" you will get a lot of responses.
These will be 70 to 95/night and 2 or 3 bedroom.

The best deal for a couple if you can do sat to sat or sun to sun is Sky Auction....one bedroom at Silver Lake or other resort.
It is easy to do and lots of info on this site about how bid. You can get a great one bedroom for under $250 a WEEK with Sky Auction.

Check out this site www.aaadreamhomes.com. We rented a 3bd/2ba condo at Windsor Palms for 10 nights at $784.00 tax included. :thewave:
