We are a family of four and are looking for the cheapest way to do two days at a Disney park and one day at a Disney waterpark. Should we book through undercover tourist, or right through Disney website?

Pull up the prices between the two websites and see which number is bigger. Not gonna find much of a deal on 2 day tickets.

It won't be much difference, and Disney is much more flexible if something happens and you need to move the trip or something.

Buy direct from Disney with Disney gift cards you purchase from Target using a Target Red Card. That saves you 5%. It's too short a stay - you aren't likely to do better than that - but stalk the Disney go.com website for deals - you never know.

This.

@newfiegirl, your 2-day park pass and a day at a waterpark will likely be charged to you at full price. The only discount you can hope for is to find a discount on Disney Gift Cards and use them to purchase your park passes. Make sure to buy enough to cover meals at WDW and your resort too if you're staying onsite.

Here is a thread that will help you find the best discounts on Disney Gift Cards. The first page always has the best current deals.

I usually get better discounts than Target's Red Card 5%. However, I still carry the Red Card with me when I travel to WDW because I will often estimate too low and will need to buy a card while at WDW. I can buy an e-gift card to be delivered to my email and then I merge it with an existing physical card here:

Disney water parks are not worth the full price admission IMO. There was sometimes discount codes and coupons years ago but even with that….. I would price out 3 days in the parks and 2 plus water park and see the difference in price. Also if it there is a thunderstorm the water parks will essentially close until it passes they will give you a free day if you were not there a certain amount of hours and they have been closed for a certain amount of time but NOT a refund.

That's a good point! OP, a 1-day ticket to a Disney water park is $64-$69. Adding a Park Hopper Plus to a 2-day ticket would be an additional $95. For about $30 more not only will you get PARK HOPPING so you can visit all 4 parks in your 2 park days, but you'll also get TWO extra admissions into:
  • Typhoon Lagoon
  • Blizzard Beach
  • ESPN’s Wide World of Sports
  • A round of golf at Disney’s Oak Trails Golf Course
  • A round of miniature golf at either Winter/Summerland or Fantasia Gardens
A 2-day park hopper plus ticket will also extend your exiration date from 4 days to 5 days. So, you can extend your trip an extra day and visit both water parks.
