Looking for cheap room for 1 night

Hi everyone!

We are booking a quick weekend trip and I need to find a clean, cheap hotel for just 1 night. I'm talking $35/night cheap. We are from South Florida and are driving up after my husband gets off work, so we will get in late and be in the hotel for 12 hours or less before we check into All Star Sports.

Anybody have any recommendations? Normally I wouldn't even consider this but it is either that or leave VERY early the next morning and I think I'll be too tired to enjoy the park that day! I was looking online at Travelocity and reading the reviews and some were pretty scary!

If it is just 2 of you, try Priceline. Check the sticky here, or one of the boards (betterbidding, biddingfortravel) for recent bid histories. With tax and fees, you may be a little bit over your budget, but it is worth a shot. Cannot think of anywhere in LBV at that rate, maybe 192, Kissimmee. FWIW.

I saw a bunch of cheapo's in Kissimmee but some look alittle scary, like I said! But I may have to suck it up for just 1 night, for this budget trip! We are looking for either October 10 or October 17.

Travelzoo have the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista at $29.99 plus tax, but this is a very close hotel to Disney and includes continental breakfast too. Rooms look like they have been done up.

Includes both of your dates but you need to book by today so be quick.

Before you book any hotel or motel, you should check out the reviews at TripAdvisor.com. My decision to stay at a hotel is usually based on the tripadvisor reviews. My stay at the Fairfield Inn (Canada Ave.) in 2007 was based on the very positive reviews. I'd have to say that the reviews were right on the money.
