This is beginning to smack of an abuse of authority. If I said something wrong, flag me for it, don't just delete my posts. I said:

"I hate to be unwelcoming, but after a mere 4 posts you're bored here and are looking for another chat? You might want to spend some time building your 'street cred' first. Nothing kills a good chat faster than an unknown popping in and lurking"

I got two amens from the 'amen corners', which is to say from two of the ROCKs of this community.

I also said something about CaptBlackBread being used to kill a vibrantly active thread, the "Last Person to Post" thread. Amazingly, right after mentioning this, it was reopened. It was closed for no reason (abuse of power), and now reopened? I think we deserve a bit of an explanation. If you want to "play with us", do it as one of us, not as a cat playing with a mouse.

By the way, I don't think it is out of line to not share an off-site chat with a DISboarder, I'd think the DIS would rather they stay here to chat.
