Looking for best price on Cricut Mats/blades

Hello!

I have had the opportunity to use my Cricut Expression a lot lately.

Because of this I have been going through mats and blades.

Coupons at one of my favorite places to shop are not good on Cricut products.

I'm looking for the best price on the replacement blades and mats.

How do I get the 40% off Joann's coupons? I assume they come in their ads.

I do resticky my mats with baby wipes. Makes them last much longer.

They come in their ads in the newspaper, you can sign up for their mailers too when your in the store. I love those flyers in my mail box.

You can use a re positionable glue, like a Zig pen, the big fat one, and let it dry, and that will give you a few more sticks. Works great after you wipe with a baby wipe. I do that a lot but sometimes I just need a new mat.

Michael's sells a product by Krylon called Easy Tack. If you clean your mats well, tape off the edges, and spray it, it works wonderful!

I use the Xyron Repositionable refill cartridges (for any size will do, but I use the 1.5" ones because that is what I have on hand).

I'll bump up an old thread on how I do it. And it seems to really last too.

And for blades, i have been told ebay, and do a search for Roland 60 degree blades as they work excellent.

Sometimes you can get the Joann coupons online to print out.

Also Alene's Tack It Over and Over works great on mats. You dilute it 1/2 glue 1/2 water and spread on with a foam brush.

I found that Walmart sells the mats and blades for at least half the price that Michaels sells them for!! In Canada the 12x12 mats are $13 and the blades are $10

half?? around here it is usually within a dollar & Joanns will use the coupon for 40% off on mats & blades - maybe more stores closer together so they have to be reasonable

All cricut things are really expensive here! at Michaels mats are around $25 and the blaeds are $16
