I just decided yesterday that I was going to cancel aol and just go with something free. I've been with aol for 5 years.

I just found this link. It says you can migrate your old AOL emails over to AIM. Not sure what it entails. You might want to ask about it when you cancel and make sure you are REALLY CANCELLED. People have reproted that they log in for their AOL mail & suddenly get charged again.
