Looking for an interesting / whacky / unique Kid Friendly restaurant.

I would like to take my family to a non chain restaurant that is kid friendly. Looking for something "different" be it the decor, the food, or something else... any suggestions?

Even though it is sort of a chain (Rainforest Cafe) - what about the new T-Rex cafe in DOwntown DIsney?

Whispering Canyon at the WL, Sleuths Mystery dinner show on International Dr, Johnny Rockets (but believe this is a chain).............

I know this is another chain, but there are so many in Orlando, it is hard to avoid them. We don't have one here in NY so it was cool to us. We really liked TuTu Tango. It has an artist theme (it's artsy-funky) and serves small plates so it was fun for everyone to taste a lot of different things. It was very kid friendly. They were actually having break dancers come in the night we were there, but we had to leave to see the fireworks at MK. I hope to go there again on our upcoming trip.

I'm looking at the same thing for our April trip and had already settled on Cafe Tu Tu Tengo for one night. It does have locations in several states, but it's new to us. Also looking at Bahama Breeze (Caribbean food, mabe a local chain, don't know how kid friendly).

Bahama Breeze is also good and kid-friendly. We usually eat there on trips to Florida. It isn't as funky or themed or as different as TuTu Tango, though. It is a chain as well...owned by Darden Restaurants (Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Seasons52, etc...)
