Hi all, I am going to USF/IOA staying at the HRH for 2 nights in Jan/04 - going down ahead of the rest of the family so I will be a "lone" adult for the three days

Have some questions around should I buy my park ticket at the HRH (and have it on my room key) or should I buy in advance (do not plan to get to IOA/USF for the rest of 2004)

Looking for some restaurants that are "lone diner" friendly as well
and any other tips for me as well would be appreciated

Great Board by the way and thanks tons in advance for all the assistance

:hyper:

Even though you won't be able to use all of the days the best ticket for you will be the 5 days for the price of two. It's on their website and it costs $89. You will love it there. There are many places for you to dine at the parks and at Citywalk and the hotel. The quick stops are fine for "loners" but for sit down the only place I would not go is Emerils or Tchoup Tchoup. You could, but it might be awkward.

Have fun!

Spideys right about the 5 day ticket, I think its the best price. As far as dining, I think that you may like a relaxing time at Tchoup chop alone to just enjoy the atmosphere and service after the parks. Besides, if you go alone its lots cheaper.:p The hard rock cafe would probably be a nice place to eat alone too, as you can look at the memorabilia and videos playing. Theres is a Lowes cinema on Citywalk too so that if you get bored at night you can catch a flick. Have fun.

I agree with the five day ticket. My favorite restaurant is Mythos is IOA. YOu can sit by the window or outside and enjoy watching the Hulk. The food and atmosphere are great and I wouldn't feel at all awkward being there alone. In fact, you'll be fine at just about any of the restaurants in the parks or CityWalk. You will love the HRH and the parks.

If I were alone I would not hesitate to eat at Emeril's or Tchoup Chop! They have a great Chefs counter that offers single seating. The view into the kitchen would be entertaining and I'm sure it would be great fun watching the chefs and interacting with them. Not to mention, a wonderful meal!

You got some great ticket advice!

I did not think about the counter.....change my vote.... You will be fine everywhere!

Have fun!

And if you go there, you could even ask to have a seat at the bar and get some food there. Sure, the service at the bar isn't as good as if you had a proper waiter/waitress, but it does offer quick/easy seating.

Plus since you'll be solo, you can utilize the single riders line on several attractions, especially at MIB!
