Looking for advice

We have Boo Bash tickets at Magic Kingdom for the 20th. We are not going in the park during the day. The tickets allow us in at 7pm. But, Liberty Tree has a 6:45pm dinner reservation. Thoughts on whether you think they will let us into the park 20 min early to make that reservation. Call hold time is over 2 hours.

You MIGHT be able to be admitted early (we don't know how they will handle admission times for this new event.)
But, I wouldn't spend precious (and far-too short as it is) "party time" dining in a sit-down restaurant (at a rather high cost in itself,) anyway.

I agree. I would eat dinner before the event in order to maximize my time at the event and riding rides.

These special event tickets generally allow park entrance a couple hours early, but why waste Boo Bash time sitting in a restaurant. Also, this restaurant very often does not seat guests on time.

Although Boo Bash itself does not start until 9/930, you may still want to use those extra couple of hours beforehand riding a few rides instead of eating. maybe grab an early dinner at GF Cafe and then walk over afterwards.

The 7PM is the early entry time, but I agree that I wouldn't waste the time on dinner.

Thanks everyone! We go several times a year so we are good with spending time in a sit down. I just didn't want to do it at 8pm as I didn't want to miss fireworks. Getting in at 7pm adds 2 hours to the ticket and we are more than likely good with just the three hours. I did go ahead and book at 6:45pm at Liberty Tavern. They are typically late but we will see if it works out. I will continue to look for a 7 or 7:15pm things seems to change daily and it only takes a few minutes to check.

I think you will be fine. Even if they don’t let you in early, it’s closeish to the front and I think they will accommodate you if you are a little late. We have arrived late for reservations before because it took us longer to get there or we got stuck on a ride, and they almost always accommodate us. I think you have either a fifteen or twenty minute grace period to begin with. I bet you can find a little later though closer too as well.
