Looking for advice on November visit

Hi There! My daughters (9 and 11) and I will be visiting DLP this November with her Highland Dance school (there is an annual Highland gathering held there at that time of year). I was there about 10 years ago but I can imagine that a lot has changed; especially after reading some posts here! We have been to Walt Disney World in Florida a few times but realize there are many differences both in size and for planning purposes and we want to make the most out of this visit. We are looking for suggestions, planning tips and advice with regards to meals, timing, rides, transfers, weather, etc. We will be staying with the dance group at the Cheyenne hotel during our five night stay and are hoping to make a day trip into Paris. Hi, we have been twice during November. One thing I can say about the weather in November is that it can be everything all at once in one day. Heavy rain, hail, cold and windy, then the next day it can be mild and sunny! Pack warm layers and waterproofs and be prepared for anything and everything! We are going at the end of October and will be packing the thermals (which I wish I had done at Easter!) have a great trip!

Hi there, i've visited in November 3 times - it is one of my favourite times to go because you can experience the Christmas celebrations but it's a bit quieter than December. However, as beltane says, I have also experienced every weather condition in November so pack for all seasons!! If the weather is not too bad, you should walk from the Cheyenne to the parks rather than get the shuttle bus - it's closer than you think and a really nice walk. The bus can end up taking longer.

Visiting Paris is easy from the Disney train station - you can clearly see the signs pointing to the platforms for Paris city centre and just get on any train. It takes around 45 minutes. I'd recommend getting up early to enjoy a full day in Paris, having dinner there and coming back to the Disney resort area in the evening.

As for tips to plan your time in the parks - how many days will you have and what days of the week? Needless to say the parks are much busier on the weekends so if you're visiting on a weekend i'd recommend using the Saturday for your Paris trip to avoid the worst park crowds.

You can find restaurant info and menus for most places at dip guide dot com. If you want to dine at table service restaurants you should phone and book in advance. I like going to Cafe Mickey or Inventions for a character meal, it's a stress free way to get great character interactions and photos. Inventions is incredible but a bit pricey!
