Looking for advice about AAA reservations

Well, I called Disney directly to get pricing and told the CM I was a member of AAA and inquired about the discount. I was told that in order to get the AAA discount I needed to book the trip through AAA. The CM was very nice and said that he would price out my trip for me to see if it was the same as the price AAA would give me. Well, it was the same price that I got when I looked it up on the website. I guess I will just call AAA and see what they have to offer.

I just called wdw and made room only reservations for april and saved over $80 using AAA. The cm asked me if I had AAA ,I didn't even think to tell her I had it cause i just opened the account back up. But if you are getting a pkg I don't know if the cm's can do it but for room only,you can.

In January, it was Disney Month with AAA. Disney offered any packages booked through AAA that month a freebee: a redwood photo box or a "When Walt's Away the Mouse Plays" desk clock.
Our office actually gives out either a fannypack, backback or photo album depending on the amount money spent on the package.
Other offices might offer more (or less or nothing!) depending on what they are doing for promotions.
If you want all your AAA benefits (some listed previously in the above posts) you can still book a package with AAA. The catch is that you still need a ticket...so get a one day base ticket. It will never expire (since technically tickets only expire after 14 days of first use) so you can save it for your next trip. It's also another way that some people get the dining plan if they've already bought their tickets.
