Looking for adjoining room recommendations at CBR

Anyone have any recent experience with connecting rooms? I know I can’t have a guarantee, but want to get a request in for adjoining rooms for our family, in a reasonably central location. I saw a review that said buildings 45 and 51 are the most central to both skyliner terminals and the main resort pool. Anyone have any recommendations from personal experience on general location, bonus points if you can talk to adjoining rooms. TIA.

If you want rooms with a door between them, those are connecting rooms - in Disney resort speak adjoining just means they are near each other.

If you want connecting, it's generally best to have that be your only request.

Yes, make your one and only request connecting rooms. Do not request anything else.
If you start trying to request specific rooms, even if they are connecting rooms, and those rooms aren't available the room assigners wouldn't know what your #1 request is so they'll just put you where they can.
Make it simple for them, tell them your #1 request and make no others

Like you mentioned, there is nothing you can do to guarantee connecting rooms, like previous posts have mentioned, make connecting rooms your only room request.

Decide which is more important to your party -- connecting rooms or central location. If it's connecting rooms, make that your only request and be willing to go where they put you. If you list both connecting and a location, what if they give you the requested location but couldn't give you connecting there? Will that be OK?

Thanks for the recommendations. I will go with use the connecting rooms since we really need that.
