Looking for a vacation home near Universal

Hi! We're looking to rent a vacation home for the week of Thanksgiving and would like to be close to Universal and IOA. I've looked at VRBO and Homeaway but really not sure what city to be looking under to be the closest. Where would you look? Orlando, Kissimmee, Davenport, etc? Also are there any other sites to look for vacation homes other than All Star Homes? THanks!

Universal and SeaWorld are in Orange County and they don't allow short term rentals for vacation homes. Vista Cay is near the Convention Center on I-Drive but it's townhouses and not individual pool homes.
In Kissimmee ( Osceola County):
Windsor Hills to Emerald Island in Kissimmee is closest in the west maingate section of 192
Indian Wells near Lake Buena Vista is an older community with mostly full time residents but does have a few pool home rentals.
Communities on Poinciana such as Terra Verde, Lake Berkly are the nearest on that section off 192.
There are also communities in Davenport (Polk County) near the Champions Gate exit (58) of I- 4 which can get you to Universal and SeaWorld in about the same time as the others.
On this map Windsor Hills area is around marker #1. Poinciana sections is around Marker #62 (Terra Verde) and Indian Wells is #169

thanks for that information! Are you familiar with Legacy Park in Davenport, FL and how far away that would be from Universal area?

It's #78 on the map and it would be 30 minutes or more from Universal. You would either have to go south on 27 then over to Champion's Gate to access I-4 then east on I-4 to Universal, or go north on 27 then east on 192 about 6 miles to access I-4 then east on I-4 to Universal.
It's not a great location if you'll be spending most of your holiday at US and SeaWorld. The area it's in is great but you'd have to travel a little distance.
