Looking for a place to buy Maxi dresses

I am looking for a store that sells a variety of Maxi dresses. Any suggestions??? Thanks

TJMaxx has pretty good selection/prices. Also-I don't know how handy you are with a sewing machine, but if you search maxi dress on Pinterest you will come up with a variety of DIY tutorials. I am a beginner and I made a maxi skirt with no prior knowledge or assistance! plus I got a good deal on fabric at JoAnn's! Just a thought!

I went into Ross for the first time ever just after Easter weekend and was very impressed by their dress selection. Especially the Maxi dresses! They were having a Dress Event and they had rack after rack full of all kinds of dresses. I picked up quite a few maxi's and other short spring/summer dresses and most of them were priced $7.99-$11.99!!

I went in yesterday to see if I could find a smaller size in one of the dresses ( I couldn't) and the selection was not as good as before. I don't know if they are going to restock or what but I would definitely recommended popping in for a look

I LOVE maxi dresses! In addition to Target and Old Navy, I've gotten lovely ones from LOFT/LOFT outlet, Gap outlet and Banana Republic outlet (can you tell we have a great outlet mall where I am? ).

Maxi skirts are big this spring/summer, too.

I love Ross, Marshalls' and TJ Maxx for most of my dresses. I just went to Ross the other night and got 8 really nice dresses (some maxi some for work) for less than $100.

I tried Old Navy last night. They had several styles all made of a very soft and thin jersey material. I love this material for pj's, but its a little thin for a dress for my taste (I'm 41). I could clearly see my body through it and my underwear. Not gonna work for me. And in the heat of the summer I don't wanna add another layer underneath to prevent that. I'm gonna keep looking cause I do love the look.

I am a big fan of Old Navy's maxi dresses - both long and short I find them to be on the big side (so you can go down a size) and are very comfortable. I plan on pairing the short ones with capri leggings at WDW in a couple of weeks.

Maxi dresses are my favorite weekend wear in the summer - so easy, versatile and comfortable!

i saw some cute ones in NY&co yesterday.

if you have a bob's nearby they had some really nice ones - i bought a blue/white stripe tank-style one for under $20 it looks really good on: hugs the curves, without being too tight or clingy.
the big problem i have is the length on many - don't they know some ppl are under 5'8"?? i would like to wear them with cute, flat sandals, but at 5'3", i have to wear some kind of heel (i feel sorry for the many woman even shorter who like maxis....)

Taking the hem up in a maxi dress is really fairly simple to do yourself or inexpensive if you know a good/reasonable seamstress.

Kohls and TJ Maxx come to mind first... Dillards maybe, but they tend to be pricey unless it is during one of their sales.
