Looking for a particular movie

Does anyone have any idea where I can get my hands on a copy of Disneys Song of the South?

There are bootleg copies you can find online. Do not know the quality. Disney is not re-releasing that particular movie.

We ordered ours from Ebay, had to get it from someone in overseas.

The ones on eBay may be copies of the only two Disney licensed versions available in the world: PAL videotape sold in the UK or the NTSC laser disc sold in Japan and/or Hong Kong. Buyer beware.

I don't know if this helps, but have you checked our Limewire? You might be able to download it and burn it to a DVD?

They have issues with the content being seen as racist. They don't want to offend.

I hope I don't offend anyone and I do understand why Disney removed this movie but I have to say I so loved it! I loved Uncle Remus, how he would just suck you right into his telling of the story, the crafty Bier Rabbit, Fox, and Bear. Maybe it was the way my parents raised me or I am just really nieve, but never once did slave or any of the other reasons this movie was pulled ever cross my mind.

I use to ask my mom why we didnt have a cool Uncle like Remus who told us fun stories.

I miss this movie and I really wish they would release it again.
