I am looking for a new light weight stroller for my 20 month old daughter. She is climbing out of her current stroller and is close to hurting herself! I have been looking for a stroller that we will be able to take to WDW when she is 5. I have been looking at Maclaren, Peg Perego and Combi. Any feedback would be great! Happy New Year!

check out the message boards on www .windsorpeak. com but remove the spaces and search for the strollers you're interested in. My DH calls me a stroller diva since we have 5 strollers for 1 1/2 yo DS.

There is no perfect stroller, just lots of near perfect ones for different reasons

Yes, definitely check out the stroller forum on the Baby Bargains site, listed above.

I love love love my Inglesina Zippy. My 17 month old got it for her birthday, and it is fabulous. I especially love the one hand open and close feature. And it rides like a dream. Similar to the PP P3, but when I test drove them side by side, the Zippy won hands down.

I bought a Maclaren Volo a couple of months ago for my 3 year old DD. It is wonderful!! So light weight and easy to fold. If DD was younger I would have gotten a more expensive model than the Volo but this one will do just fine for our trips to the mall and our upcoming trip to the world. She is only 31 lbs so with a weight limit of 55 lbs we still have a lot of use ahead of us with this stroller...maybe even another Disney trip or two!!

I bought a Peg Perego Aria thinking it would be great! Which it was, but it is so light that my 3 1/2 year old son at 33 lbs made it hard to stear if he leaned forward at all, sitting back it was fine. I wish I had bought it when he was younger. I ended up buying a MacClaren Quest a few weeks later and love it still, he just turned 4 but know it will last until he is atleast 5, he weighs about 35 lbs now maybe.

Do a search on the families board and you will find a ton of info on this topic. Personally we love our Mac Triumph. It is light weight, reclines, has a canopy, folds easily, has a basket, easy to steer and it holds a lot of weight but can't remember exactly how much. Here's a link to the one we have. we use it for our almost 4yo DS.

I have also seen it in other colors than the one pictured. Also, I saw last years model at my local Marshall's store! I didn't see the price but I'm sure it was less than what I paid!!LOL I would also go to any local baby stores and try out the different strollers. You never know how much you will like or dislike a stroller until you see it and try it out for yourself.

My favorite strollers are the Chicco's. Very easy to open and close, lite weight, and confortable for the child.

I can't say enough good things about the Maclaran. I bought the Volo in granite for our September 06 trip - I believe the model year was a 2005, plus it wasn't in a trendy color so it was $99 (still pricey, but a lot less than some Maclarans). Well worth it when you subtract the cost of renting in the parks, plus add the convenience of having it for the walk to and from the buses (also, I promised DH I would sell it on ebay when we got home to make some money back :rolleyes1 ). My DD was 4 and weighed about 41 lbs at the time and the stroller (rated for 55 lbs) was great for her weight and her height (she's tall for her age, 42" at time of trip). It doesn't recline but I found that to be a non-factor, since as we all know kids can fall asleep just about anywhere in any position. And it's good quality - you can definitely store it away for your next trip.

Hope that helps! Have fun!

I have a Peg Perego Aria and I really like it. My DD is almost 1 and it steers good and reclines. Only thing I don't like is the cupholder, but I can deal with that
