Taking a break from WDW and will be doing Discovery Cove, Sea World, Aquatica and Legoland on the next trip. I usually stay at Pop Century so I need some help at an offsite.

I will have a car so location is flexible but I will need parking included.

I will be spending a free day at the Hotel so I would like a nice pool.

Free Buffet Breakfast is a plus

I HATE resort fees.

I stayed at Marriott Village once and that was nice but I have no recollection about the pool as I did not use it.

I prefer not to stay to close to Disney because I am sure it will be pulling me in and I really want to try Discovery Cove and going to WDW on the same trip would bust the budget

Any tips are appreciated.

Thanks

We stayed at the Residence Inn SeaWorld during Christmas 2012, and would highly recommend it.

Its a SeaWorld official hotel, so you receive all the onsite perks like free Quick Queue at SeaWorld, free transportation to the parks, etc.

All suites (studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom) have kitchens.

One and two bedroom suites have multiple flat screen TV's.

A hot buffet breakfast, internet and parking are all free.

Staff are great and very helpful.

There's a large pool, hot tub, and sport court.

For more pics of the hotel (rooms, exterior and common areas), click on the link in my signature for my Christmas trip report.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I see they offer park transportation. Is that run comparable to Disney Transportation or is it on demand or on a schedule?

Just Curious

Its on a schedule, but from what I remember, it does run quite frequently. Front desk will give you a list of the shuttle times for each park when you check in. We didn't use it during our stay (we had a rental vehicle and chose to drive) but I remember looking at the schedule and thinking that we probably could have easily made do with the shuttle if necessary.

I see from your other post on the SW board that you are also going to DC. I have heard that you can add on a length-of-stay parking pass to your DC admission that would be good for both SW and Aquatica. The cost is something like $25 (so less than the price of two parking days at the other parks). Might be worth checking into, if you wanted to be able to drive vs. take the shuttle. I believe you simply call DC to add it to your ticket purchase.

I really like Residence Inn Sea World. The rooms are well kept and clean and the pool is nice and the continental breakfast in the morning is really nice. Plus the price is not bad. Its really close to Sea World. I've also stayed at the Rennissance and liked it but I really enjoyed Residence Inn
