Looking for a GREAT steak at WDW!

I had a really good steak at the Brown Derby on our last trip. It surprised me, because while their food is good, I didn't expect a top quality steak cooked a perfect medium rare anywhere at Disney. I only ordered it because we did the fantasmic package and it was a fixed price. Not sure if they would repeat the performance, but our other meals there have all been good.

Kona Cafe at Polynesian Resort. The dinner was fabulous. From the bread with the macadamian nut butter to the chocolate vanilla creme brulee dessert. This place was great.You and your daughter will enjoy any of the other entrees too. Family friendly and easy access to get to since the monorail stops right at the hotel. The steak was cooked to perfection and so delicious. Everyone in our party really thought this was one of our best meals at Disneyworld.

I agree with this word by word!!! Kona has a Teriyaki Steak & it's AMAZING! DH & I go there whenever we're in Orlando. I went to WDW with my Mom, siblings, & their spouses in August and I told them all to get the steak. Everyone was making noises and commenting on how delicious it was. My BIL still talks about it to this day! DH just returned from deployment & has been talking about going on vacation so he can have "that Teriyaki steak!"

Lets just say I have eaten at Shula's Steak house and after the wait even though we had a reservation and the price I was less than gratified. But We were down for Thanksgiving about 4 years ago and instead of Turkey I had a Porterhouse for the Yachtsman Steak house. Now that was the right choice. I was pleased and Thankful like you should be on this day.
