Hi, everyone! I am posting this here because someone on another thread said this is the right place to be. :)

I am trying to find a graphic that I can use on some fun stuff for our vow renewal that my DH, Howard, and I are doing next January. The VR is tied in with Disney's marathon weekend, so I was hoping to find something cute if it even exists. Has anyone seen any of the following?
1. Mickey & Minnie running
2. Mickey & Minnie running with Minnie wearing a wedding veil

I know that is really specific and probably can't be found, but all my disney bride friends have suggested that if anyone can find such a thing, it would be the DIS creative community.

Thank you so much for any help you might provide!

Hi - I am new at this too, so someone else might be able to give you more specific locations, I can only direct you to the sticky topic 'design tips" if you scroll down it has a big list of links for clipart sites. I did find running Mickeys, don't remember seeing a Minnie running with a veil. Good luck!

Take a look on my webpage - under "general designs" # 76 - 79.

I have both a running Mickey and Minnie. They are not in dress clothes and no veil but...

Give me until Monday or Tuesday and I'll see if I can add a veil to Minnie. No Promises!

Oh, my goodness, Amy! I have never seen anything like your design collection! You are so incredibly talented!
I don't know if it would help to have any background on why I am looking for this stuff. I was very ill for almost 10 years until I had my 4th heart surgery in January 2005, Since then my husband and I have done the Disney marathon and half marathon and a bunch of other Disney races and I've lost 70 pounds in the process. On January 12, 2009 we are going to renew our vows in a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding. The night before we are throwing a party for our closest friends from the DISBoards WISH Racing Team. I thought I'd play up the fact that marathoners re-tie their shoes many, many times before a race; I thought I'd do an invitation that says something like

Like all good marathoners, Cam & Howard are re-tying the knot!

I thought that instead of using a ribbon tied through the top of the invitation, I'd use a Mickey hole punch and thread a lime green (our race team color) shoelace and tie it in a bow. The only artwork I thought I'd have on it would be a Mickey and Minnie running and hopefully with Minnie with a veil.

You seem really, really creative. I would LOVE your expert opinion on whether you think that is cute and clever.

Thank you so much for your help!

I LOVE your idea. It sounds so creative and fun! I am so glad I was able to help with this. Just reading your story gives me inspiration.

Here is the Minnie I worked on.

I wasn't sure if you wanted Mickey and Minnie together or what. If you'd like me to put them together or change their clothes color if you wish them to be a different color or do anything else - let me know.

Oh, Amy! That is so wonderful! Thank you so much!!!! She is absolutely adorable! Howard has such a huge crush on Minnie, so he will get such a kick out of the graphic. Is it even possible to put her and my main Mouse together in one graphic? And is it at all possible to somewhat "neutralize" the color of the clothes or to take them to lime green so that they don't clash with the green shoelace? If not, this is totally awesome just the way it is. And I really, really appreciate the time you put into modifying the graphic so seamlessly! :cloud9: She is gorgeous!

How are these colors - if you want me to try something else, let me know.

Perfect, Amy! Absolutely perfect! Now I am so excited to do my save the dates with this graphic. You are so wonderful and generous! Thank you!

Okay, I just realized I'm kind of clueless. Is it okay to just use your graphic? Do I copy and paste it into a word document?

Thanks again!

Of course you can use it, that's why I created it! You should have no trouble bringing it up in a Word document. If you need any other help creating your invite, let me know.

Amy -- I wanted to thank you again for the graphic you created for us of Mickey & Minnie running with Minnie wearing a veil. We are using it on little candy bar wrappers that I've made and it will be the featured artwork on our dessert party invitation. Having worked on some creative stuff last night for labels for our welcome bag items, I have an even greater appreciation for how much effort goes into these bits and pieces of artwork. Thank you again for helping me to make my visions a reality!

I am so glad I was able to help with your most special day. If you ever think about it, I would love to see pictures.
