Hello all!

My husband and I are coming to Disney on the week of our Birthdays (mine is May 19th, his the 25th). He already has his birthday dinner picked out (Yak & Yeti)...but I just can't seem to decide! I would like somewhere that is kind of special.

Here is some more info to help narrow things down because I know what I'm asking is pretty vague.
-We are are the Disney Dining and I'm not really interested in signature dining.
-My first choice was Coral Reef, but I've read countless reviews about how noisy it was and how there are tons of children..so that one went out the window.
-My next choice is Chefs De France (avoiding Remy). Then I start reading the reviews and I get all nervous it's going to be terrible...but the menu looks good!
-The restaurants we are eating at that week we are there are: Le Cellier, Yak & Yeti, Chef Mickey's, and I've yet to make the rest of the ADRs.
-We have eaten at CP, LC, Y&Y, Rose & Crown, H&V, Captain's Grille, SciFi,
-Places I don't want to eat: San Angel Inn (had the WORST restaurant experience of my life there, and will never go back:sad2:), Anything at AKL, 50s prime time, and places that are aimed at children.
-Location doesn't matter/type of food doesn't matter I can usually find something anywhere.

I've looked at all the menu's to all the DDP restaurant a million times, but I just can't pick out somewhere that will be special.

Hope that's not too terribly vague...Thanks in advance!:flower3:

My top picks for adult dining at a 1TS credit on Disney's dining plan would be:

1. Turf Club at SSR. The food is good and the atmosphere is usually quiet.
2. Wave at CR. Same as Turf Club.
3. Raglang Road at DTD. OK, it's not quiet but they do have live music and decent food and great beer.

Have you been to 'Ohana at the Polynesian hotel? My favorite! You could go at a later time and ask for a table for 2 near a window. If you time it right you will be able to watch Wishes at MK from your table! They pipe in the music and dim the lights! After dinner you could stroll along the beach at the Poly.! I also enjoyed Chefs de France! The food was delicious! Enjoy and Happy Birthdays to you and your DH!

You and my DD share the same birthday....we will be in the world for her birthday and will be eating at The Garden Grill that day (she chose spot) but she is 10 as an adult I would prefer something like Coral Reef or Le Cellier mainly cuz they r sit down meals.....if u dont mind buffet on ur bday try Boma...very yummy IMO.....Good luck and Happy Bday!!

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! I'm going to look at the Wave and Turf Club, and Chefs is still on the list!:) Ohana isn't available on my birthday and I don't think there are any times available the 8 days we will be there.:sad1:

@Happytexasmom! Happy Birthday to your DD! It's neat we'll both be there for our birthdays!

The most romatic meal my DW and I even had at WDW wasthe Bistro De Paris, but I'm not sure if it's on the DDP or not.

Thanks!!!! I will, she is super excited. Hope you and your Hubby have a great time celebrating your birthdays:woohoo:
