Does anyone have a lasagna recipe that is made in crockpot that they have tryed and would like to share?

I use this one and like it!

Ingredients

* 1 (1 pound) package Bob Evans® Italian Sausage Roll
* 1 (9 ounce) package no-boil lasagna noodles, broken into 2 pieces
* 12 ounces ricotta cheese
* 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
* 2 (26 ounce) jars pasta sauce
* 1 tablespoon dried parsley

Directions

1. Spray interior of slow cooker with non-stick vegetable spray.
2. In medium skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook sausage until brown. Place in slow cooker. Add noodles, ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella, pasta sauce and parsley. Stir gently to combine.
3. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. 5 minutes before serving, top with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Cover to melt cheese.

Have made this several times:

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
1 onion chopped
1/8 tsp garlic powder
(2) 15 ox cans tomato sauce
(1) 6 oz can tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
(1) 12 oz carton of cottage cheese
1/2 cup grated parm
12 oz lasagna noodles - uncooked
8 oz shredded mozzarella

Directions:

1. Brown ground beef & onions in skillet.

2. Add garlic powder, tom sauce, tom paste, salt & oregano.

3. Cook long enough for it all to get warm

4. In separate bowl mix cottage cheese, parm cheese, and mozzarella.

5. Spoon layer of meat sauce onto bottom of crockpot. Add a double layer of uncooked lasagna noodles (break to fit). Top with cheese mixture. Repeat layers 2 more times.

6. Cook on low for 5 to 5 1/2 hours.

Makes 8 servings.

PS: I was leary of the cottage cheese, but even my really picky DH loved this!

Yum, I am going to have to try these. Never thought to try it in a crockpot.

Oprah had one on a few weeks ago from Jerry seinfeld's wife-the recipe is on her website and it looked really good.She added spinach for extra veggies to feed your kids but she said you could leave it out.I am going to try it.

I did crock pot lasagne once, it burned horribly and was inedible. I haven't tried since. :( Good luck OP!

What brand and how old is your crock? I had a fantastic Rival that was close to 25 yrs old but it died last year. I've since bought 3 replacements and NO LUCK at all. The newer crocks all seem to cook faster and hotter. If you have a newer model and will be home xmas eve, just be sure to keep an eye on it.

I make it all the time, very yummy

1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 jar marinara sauce
1 1/4 cup water
15 oz ricotta cheese
1 egg white
1 cup mozzarella cheese
6 lasagne noodles ( i use the regular kind)

brown the ground beef, add the jar of marinara sauce, and the water.
I usually add some spices at this point too, basil, garlic powder, ( i don't measure)

in another bowl mix the ricotta, egg white and mozzarella cheese together.

then put some of the sauce mixture on the bottom of the crock, then noodles, then cheese, and keep layering it ending with sauce at the top.
cook it on low for about 3 hours.

that recipe makes about 8 servings, you could double it if your crock is big enough

Yes they do! We had to replace ours last year and while I like my new one, it's bigger, it definitely cooks a lot faster. That said, I like the simple one that has low, high and warm. None of the electronic settings, probe etc....

Before you make it, read all the reviews on Oprah's website. When I looked a few weeks ago people commented that there may have been recipe misprints on the website.
