Looking for a Beach Resort in Florida

Just back from 3 weeks at Bonnet Creek (Fantastic) and would next year thinking of just 2 weeks there and a week at the beach. Would love similar type of rooms to BC and an activities programme but don't know where to begin. So looking for resort and area recommendations please. We love the activities at BC but would be nice to see the ocean also.

Tradewinds is rated pretty high and has been featured as in magazines. Lots of resorts to choose from.

Take a look at Marriott's Ocean Point resort on singer island. A great place on the beach with all the villa ammenities and resort activites. Not as many kids as Orlando bu they were there and the beach was very nice. And it is a Marriott so you know it will be very nice.

florida has a ton of nice beach resort - it would help if you knew where you are going - central - tampa (gulf) or daytona beach (ocean)

northern gulf Panama City Beach, northern atlantic Jacksonville or St augustine,

Key west area?

Florida is surrounded by water - on all 3 sides - so unless you say a little more it will be a very long list.

most timeshares (which BC is) will have activities.

I would look at Clearwater Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Treasure Island or St Pete Beach. You can stay in Indian Rocks Beach for much less than Clearwater Beach but its only a 10 minute drive. We stay on the beach there every year after our Orlando trip. There is so much to do out there! Dolphin tours, Caladesi Island shelling trips, plus just the fun of being at the beach. If you look on Vacationrentals.com, VRBO.com or Homeaway.com you can find a nice place right on the beach.
