First of all, she was a playmate...as in the past.
Second of all, who the heck are we to judge? We know absolutely nothing about her in any way that really matters. And even if we did, it's not our decision to make.
I really don't see what Dr. Phil has to do with any of this. Does he have to pick his sons' wives or something?
Okay, I'm not judging HER. Well, maybe I am a little, in the sense that if my daughter made the same choices I would be very disappointed with her. But that has nothing to do particularly with her as a person. I'm sure she's a very nice girl

.
My point is, and some of y'all seem to really be missing it, is that if my next door neighbor's kid married somebody who starred in adult videos, I'd be like, ok, whatever, that's cool. Amusing.
But Dr. Phil is someone who is GETTING RICH promoting a lifestyle to us regular folks that includes condemnation of porn, and his son goes out and gets engaged to a porn star, who, by Dr. Phil's definition, is going about as wrong as it's possible to go.
Not JUST a playboy playmate (You forgot Cindy Crawford in the celebrity lineup)-there's a big difference for me between flashing some breasts in a glossy magazine and being paid to have SEX with other people on camera.
So, Dr. Phil, I think, is a big flippin' hypocrite, and if his kid is marrying a porn star, then he needs to sit ol' Jay down in one of his freakishly tall chairs in front of his audience and ask him about his choices, just like he does to all the regular folks he has on his show. You can't have it both ways!
What I am surprised by is the posters who are saying 'it's no big deal.' Sure, for regular people, it isn't, but hello, Dr. Phil, purveyor of family values?
Where are those Dr. Phil books, I"m returning them to him.
It's like Clark Howard putting out the book "Clark Smart Kids' and you find out he's cashed in his kids' college savings accounts to go gambling in Vegas.
