A NEW COUNTDOWN!!!!!​

We have just booked a package with Virgin (we have never done a package before!) MAN - MCO 25th April 17 nights.

We had forgotton that we had £2800 in tesco vouchers, this was the total cost of the holiday and then we have to pay £800 in airport taxes and fees apparently. Even still 17 nights for £800 seems good to me! We also got 14 day unlimited passed to Universal for the four of us for free, that alone is worth about £400, just hoping that Virgin are ok as we have never been with them before and have heard bad things.

DH now wants to know what I am going to do with my time, now that we have booked, I said "planning of course silly!"

wow..can I ask how long you have been saving tesco vouchers to get that amount. Do you get 4x the value like you do with days out vouchers or is that £2800 in actual vouchers?

Where are you staying?

We've never done a package but find virgin fine for flights from Manchester - good flight times esp for children. Take off 10.25 am land 2.20 pm.

We have been collecting the vouchers for about 18 months, we use a Tesco credit card for our business purchases so we accumulate a lot of points that way - it was £700 in vouchers and 4x makes it the £2800. This is the maximum that you can use for 4 people against a holiday. (£700pp)

I haven't got the full details of where we are staying from DH yet as I am at work. Will update that later

Our flight takes off at 11am, so looking forward to a direct flight, even though I don't mind flying indirect from our local airport it will be nice to just get on the plane and back off and be there!

We have travelled with Virgin 4 times on packages and it has always been totally fine
