Look what I found at Kroger yesterday!

Yesterday I had to make a cardstock run and we needed a few things from the grocery, so on the way home I hit our local Kroger. I get what I need and head to the U-Scan. On the other side of the U-Scans, there was a big table of clearance stuff and, since I'm a BIG clearance junkie, I had to look. There were these bins sitting under the table and I noticed a few scrapbook items in them. Went through the first bin- there were a few things, but they were still a bit pricey. Started scrounging through the second bin and hit the MOTHERLOAD!!!! This is what I got:

1 MM Charmed Quotes- wedding .49¢ ea.
1 MM Charmed Frames- check & harliquin .49 ea.
3 MM Woven Corners- 2 baby blue, 1 calypso .49¢ ea.
1 MM De Fined clear sticker sheet- remember .49¢ ea.
3 MM Simply Stated rub-on sheet- baby .49¢
2 MM Simply Stated rub-on sheet- expressions .49¢ ea.
2 MM Kids Trims- ethan .49¢ ea.

The gal at the U-Scan said they had tons of clearance stuff they hadn't set out yet (no room), but she wasn't sure how much of that was SB stuff. Now I'm going to have to stalk that Kroger for a few weeks just to look for clearance stuff! The sad thing was I spent more on sb items at Kroger than I did on the groceries I needed!

Do you want me to start bombarding your DH w/ the savings adds?? We have $1.00 days this week.. WE get lots and lots of stuff for a dollar... It's great for snacks!!! Dollar a loaf bread (had to utilize it because DH forgot to go to the bread outlet on Friday after work..and forgot yesterday and will forget today...so I will be attaching a post it to his forehead before he leaves for work in the AM!)

Ok, who shook mother nature and made her upset to give me 50 degree temps to start the morning???? I'm not ready for sweatshirt weather yet...

I might be in Indiana but we don't have any Kroger's here and my dd has moved away from here so no connection in Bloomington anymore! She shopped at Kroger's all the time.

Do you know it's supposed to be in the upper 40's tomorrow morning and not get out of the 60's for the high? That's okay by me- I LOVE fall! But only if I don't have to turn on the furnace!

Yep, gotta like the Kroger deals. I even have one north of me that triples coupons to .50¢ and doubles to $1. They don't have as much as the other one, but it will do when it comes to saving $$.

yup cold! it poured cold rain today!!!! uuuuggghhh. please don't tell me summer's over! i can't handle that. i HATE winter. the hotter the better i say.
i can't believe that i will have to put pants on.

Mine are the same. DD has enough pants to get through the rest of the week, but I'll need to take her shopping this weekend to get more. That should be fun- she's hard to fit (or at least to my liking anyway ).

OH! I know the pain.. DS11 is the worst about jeans and fitting right.. He had to hand down about 4 pairs to his little brother this summer...and now we have to do some jean shopping this weekend between soccer games... urgh!

Mine has a small section in the office/school supplies area. The prices are comparable, sometimes higher to the craft stores.

I ran across a sale like that at Krogers about a year ago. I bought a ton of stuff and gave half of it to a friend that scraps. I'll need to make a Krogers run this week.
