I know, I know its like WAY early to be starting a trip report when our vacation is like a whole year off, but I just can’t resist any longer Seriously I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the clock to strike midnight just so I can post this. So sit back and grab a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the next year with my family and I as we count down to our Magical Adventure! We are very excited about this trip to the World. We will be meeting up with My Dbro and his family, they R EXTREEM Disney Lovers to the MAX!

THE CAMO CREW
Me-Micki, yes that really is my name, well the only name I have gone by my entire 30 years of life, and yes I am the Disney freak of the household, (how could I not be with a name like Micki?) I blame it all on my parents!! I am taking on the Magnificent roll of “Trip Planner” I’m a SAHM, I have a small photography business… yes this TR WILL include pictures… probably more than you will want to see LOL I also like to be creative so you will probably see numerous projects along the way

DH- Dan he is borderline ANTI-Disney (WHAT is wrong with people these days??) I am a TRUE believer that he just needs a little pixie magic to get in the mood… OR not? We will do our best to convert him. But regardless I have some how managed to twist his arm into a fun family adventure to Walt Disney World, it should be interesting… as of today he has never flown and is scared to death of it (don’t tell him I told you that though) He doesn’t care much for big crowds, but loves his family enough to TRY and enjoy himselfJ

Any who.. we are parents to three magnificent mouseketeers, Zackattack, my oldest son is 10 1/2 He started 5th grade in September and I can honestly say that I am NOT smarter than a 5th grader.... just don't tell HIM that. He likes Disney, although he's not SUPER excited about it, or at least doesn't SHOW he is. He is VERY excited about this trip, mostly because he will get to hang out with his cousins from California that he doesn’t see very often.

Our first time to WDW was for his 8th birthday, it was.... ehhhh ok, we went with friends, me, the three kids and our friends and they did most of the planning...errr lack there of, 6 days at Saratoga Springs, only two days at MK, one at sea world the rest??? just bummed at the room WHAT were we thinking??? This time I am on the ball with all sorts of ideas to plan out..

Any who, the rest of my crew, Prestomatic soon to graduate from the fabulous 5 age group, Started Kindergarten this fall, yeah I can still do his homework!! He can get pretty excited about Disney... especially Goofy, he's a bit of a goof himself. He doesn’t really KNOW we are going, I mean I am not hiding anything, but I plan to make a BIG tadoo at Christmas about our Trip and then the fun will REALLY begin!!

And finally Princess Ellee, who will be 4 in February AKA Lucy... (as in short for Lucifer) yes I did just say that about my precious baby girl, whom I love to pieces but BOY is she a devious little bundle of curls and glitter. She is a big Disney lover, of course she is ALL about the Princesses, sleeping beauty is her favorite, but she also has a soft spot for Minnie Mouse. She talks about going to see the Princesses on a daily basis, she will see an outfit and say OH mom I could wear THAT when I meet Ariel, She would think I was beautiful just like her. She is even picking out outfits for her babies to wear…

We are very excited about this trip to the World. We will be meeting up with My Dbro and his family, they are EXTREEM Disney Lovers to the MAX! We’ll call them The Keppy’s for future reference They make monthly trips to Disney Land and took their first Trip to WDW in Feb of 2007, they can hardly wait to get back, they will also be doing a Disney Cruise before we meet up with them at WDW. While they were at WDW in 2007 my parents, who are on the road truck drivers. Happened to be in Southern Florida so I convinced them to go see Keppy’s. They Spent I think it was 2 days at Magic Kingdom with them J
A little back history… When my parents gave up their life of normalcy to become truck drivers, as in sold their farm and officially have NO home other than the Purple Beast. I helped them pack and move and while going through things in the old office I found an old Daily Planner of my dad’s dated 1984, in the back there was a spot that said Yearly goals…. At the top of the page in my dads writing it said “Take family to Disney World” We were always very poor growing up and that goal just was never able to come to life L But hey, life goes on right?
So anyhow… My dad doesn’t know yet, but we are all going, I mean HE and mom will be joining us on our Magical trip to the World!! My mom is totally game in going… Dad will take some convincing, so the less he knows for now the better! I have no doubt that this will be GRAND to the MAX!
Speaking of family… there is more My previous mentioned brother was a bit of a surprise… as in We didn’t know he existed until rather late in life… like 19 years after he was born.. He is the oldest son of my father, and his family has been a wonderful addition of blessings to our family. Next in line is My brother Anton and his Wonderful Wife, Lisa. Then I came along and finally my not-so-little Bro, Judd, His DS, his DW and her DD. Both my brothers are 2008 newly weds… I plan to invite both sets of Newlyweds at Christmas time too, just trying to think of the best/magical way to do it.

THE STARTING PLAN

So first up on my list of planning… did I mention this is my first time to be doing this? I’m a little nervous, and when I get nervous I tend to ramble…. This is a warning to everyone reading…. I may not stay on track!!!

SO So far in the last 2 months since this whole thing came to life… maybe its been 3 months? I have LIVED… seriously on the DISboards READING about what you fabulous DISers LOVE and…. Not so much at WDW. I want to make the absolute most of this vacation… Then again I assume ALL Disney Go-ers do?

Choosing Dates, The Disney Loving Keppy’s who really are to blame for the start of this vacation LOVE THEM!!!!!! They are doing Land and Sea, I believe they will be set sail from October 18th until October 22nd, and then they will be moving in to POP for the land portion of their vacation.

I started checking into Resorts, my family is a major music lover, so that brought me to All Star Music, I have read and read and read about it and I am 100% sure this is the best option for us J We will be doing two rooms (hopefully conjoined) One for us and 2 kids and one for my parents and our other child. That way we have space and closeness to my parents but can shut them out if we need to LOL KIDDING!!

So next on my agenda was choosing dates… I knew talking DH into this vacation was NOT going to be easy…. WHY you ask? Well he PLANNED on us going on our postponed HoneyMoon in the Spring of 2009, he was SUPER excited to be planning this with his Best Friend, so what was this GRAND HoneyMoon? OK I am NOT dissing it,I am SURE it may have been fun… a Cruise from Washington to Alaska, I think it could have been beautiful, but the idea of a vacation to me, is SUNSHINE and HEAT, not freezing your butt off and having to stay behind glass and then stopping off to explore and look for animals… ummm NO thanks… So I broke it to him easy…. I just started telling him about our vacation we WERE going on. Then one day he says “Hun, I think we should just do Disney and skip the Cruise if it means that much to you” And people wonder WHY I love him so???? There you have it, CONFIRMED… could this be his first sign of turning DISNEY??? OK back to dates, I wanted to be there to hang with the Keppy’s so I went off of the dates my SIL gave me and Decided October 24th through November 1st would be the perfect time for our vacation. That set the ball rolling. I was getting so excited. I talk about it as much as I dream about it I am sure everyone around me is SICK of hearing my Disney Dream Talk ;) So I am figuring if we arrive mid day on the 24th we wont have much time for anything although I am secretly hoping for an early flight, I won’t count on it until I know more. I plan to start this vacation with some good ole’ family fun at Mickey’s Backyard BBQ, I know many of you don’t LOVE this, but I think it will be PERFECT for our crew! Look at me I am planning what I will eat a year from now? Maybe I AM cRaZy???? NAWWWW.

So what are my other plans you ask??? 6 day park hoppers…. One on One time with each of the kids doing something special to their liking…. A Disney Date with the Hubby…. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party….. Trick or Treating at DTD….. Customs for My DD (and Niece Maddie if they come) Personalized Shirts for EVERYONE… OH yeah did I mention I have “Creative-a-holic Disorder” I think that’s what my daddy says? I inherited it from my mother! A few of my projects on my to do list so far…. Tie Dye Mickey shirts, EPCOT shirts, Halloween Shirts…oh who am I kidding they are all designed, in fact DD’s is already done…. ACTUALLY her entire outfit that she will wear on October 31, 2009 is DONE, I told you I have some Issues…. HOLD ON… I am not THAT crazy… well I am but hers is done because I am smart…. No Blonde Jokes Please… I decided to make her Halloween costume this year so that it can be reused next year for just this purpose ;) “Well isn’t that Clever”, as my Grams always says! Pictures you say??? OF COURSE I have PICTURES!!

OK enough showing off my ADORABLE Minnie Witch J Back to my list of Creative To-do’s Pillow cases for the kids, Aprons to have signed at Character Dinners. Ellee’s Dress to wear to the BBQ, Journals, Autograph books, and activity books for the kids…. OK I will just say this… For Christmas the kids are getting a Disney Calendar.. Yes making that too, and each month we will have a Disney Weekend and do a fun craft/activity to prepare for our trip, don’t worry I will be sure to share it all. Our family will truly be Doing 365 days of Disney!! It sure is exciting!!

Great PTR -- can't wait to read more! (Your DD's costume is adorable, by the way).

The All-Star Music is great! They have the perfect pools for young kids. The Halloween Party is a blast. I saw your oldest boy's a Twins fan. You folk from Minnesota?

I had to take a break from my disney planning to get ready for Halloween :) And then of course, it seems we have been hit hard with the school sickies this year, I am quite sure that someone in our household has not been well since the kids went to school, This week I THINK the pink eye has finally ended, after 6 loads of washing pillows and bedding and two cans of lysol, I think we FINALLY beat it! Which only opened the door to a flu bug of some sort, brought home by my 5th grader, Today I got blessed with it, hopefully I have protected the other kids and hubby from catching it.

So whats up with the trip??? Nothing new right now, I am still working on figuring out our matching shirts... oh yes we will be matching... and if not matching we will AT LEAST be coordinating :) So far I have figured out our shirts for Epcot, our first day at MK, and our shirts for Halloween Day! If people ever become interested in my trip report I might even share PICTURES LOL..

Regardless tho I will update with a few from halloween once it has come and gone!

I'm off to dream of Disney again..... BTW anyone else notice all the new Disney stuff at Family Dollar, gotta love Pixie gifts!!

I grew up in Bemidji.

I've been there a few times, I grew up a bit south east of Bemidji in McGregor, MN, actually our address was Aitkin but we were way closer to McGregor and Palisade. My Husbands family has a cabin between Palisade and Emily so I still go "home" once in a while, although none of my family still resides up there. My older brother went for the city life and my little brother migrated to southern MN, which is also where I am now! Its always fun to know others from your neck of the woods ;)

Ready Or Not My Spooky Crew is comming your way...
Well maybe not YOUR way, but we are ready to go haunting.. I mean Trick or Treating tomorrow! All costumes were completed yesterday, and we carved our pumpkins, thought you might like to see too, you might recognize a familuar face on my pumpkin?????
