Can anyone out there look on thier free dining reservation and see where it states that we get the free 5x7 photo pass certificate? I don't see it on mine, and me and my in-laws both got screwed out of them last year with our free dining package.

Mine doesn't have it this year But it does have a ARCADE PLAY CARD VOUCHER in its place .. which is great because my kids love the disney Arcades...

I don't think all FD packages were given a 5x7 last year. IF I recall correct, it was only packages booked on-line.

I had booked online so I went to my confirmation email and clicked on the link "New 2009 Package Inclusions'... at the bottom of the list it states:

As part of purchasing your package through disneyworld.com, you also receive the following inclusions upon checking in at your Disney Resort Hotel (not available for packages booked through the Disney Reservation Center):

Commemorative luggage tag (one per person)
Disney's PhotoPass 5 x 7 photo certificate – When you check in, you receive a welcome letter with instructions on how to get one 5 x 7 print from Disney's PhotoPass. With Disney's PhotoPass service, your family's magical Walt Disney World® Resort vacation memories are captured by a professional photographer.
Planet Hollywood® certificate – Enjoy a $15 certificate valid for food and non-alcoholic beverages at Planet Hollywood®, Downtown Disney® West Side. VIP Preferred Seating is available from 11:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. (One certificate per room; not valid with any other offers or discounts.)
Disney's Miniature Golf certificate – Enjoy one certificate valid for one round of miniature golf (per room) at either Disney's Fantasia or Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Courses. (One certificate per room, valid for one round of golf. For example: a room with four Guests will receive one certificate which is valid for one person in the party to play one round of miniature golf.)
Sea Raycers offer – Enjoy 30 extra minutes of watercraft fun when you purchase 60 minutes. Offer is valid for up to five people at participating marina locations. (Restrictions apply; one certificate per room.)
Disney arcade card – Receive a card valid for 30 minutes at select Walt Disney World Resort hotel arcades. (One card per room. Not available for reservations at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel.)

See here, it has the 5x7 and the arcade card both on them. All 2009 packages are supposed to have BOTH. I am fixin to send Disney an email and raise a little h*ll! They did this to me last year, but there not going to do it this year!

You only get both if you book your package on line.

Did you book on line or did you call CRO?

If you want the free picture, book a new reservation on line then cancel the other one.

Yep, this is what I was thinking I may have to do to. I did email Disney about it. I don't know. Don't really know if it is really worth the trouble to rebook and cancel for just the free pic, but its the principal of the matter to me. Do only the online booked packages get this all year round or is it just during the free dining promo? Just wondering if they might be trying to scrimp a little during one of the biggest promotions that they offer.

I booked free dining online last year and did not get a 5X7. Heck I could not even use the "free" souvineer coupon from PH. They said it was only with purchase LOL.

Don't know if anyone answered this already, but I get the free 5x7 because I used my Disney VISA to book my ressie. If you have a Disney VISA check the cardmember benefits section online. I think it says there what you get....I just went to disneyvisa.com and under "theme park benefits" it lists that you get a "complimentary 5x7 photo".

I was thinking the same as to why my confirmation did not have the photo voucher. When I rang they told me that it's not part of the package. I booked our package over the phone.

I did use my Disney Visa. This is ridiculous. I thought I seen on Disney's website that this was an inclusion of 2009 packages. I think that they are trying to save a little money on these packages because they are providing such a savings to most people. We'll I emailed them and probably won't get a response till next week, but I will let you know what they say.

Is the Visa 5x7 the picture that you get from the meet and greet, or an additional 5x7?
Donna

I booked by phone with my Disney Visa. My list of "extra's" include:

Arcade card
miniature golf voucher
Planet Hollywood Merchandise voucher
Planet Hollywood $15 meal voucher
Sea Raycer Offer Voucher

As you can see it did not include a free 5X7 photo thru PhotoPass.

I know that if you are a Disney Visa Card holder, you can go to the designated area in EPCOT and get a "Free" photo with a Disney Character, as we did this on our trip in February. They take the photo, then you need to go to the "Photo store" near the entrance to the park to pick it up. They will add a border, autograph, etc....for you.

I also booked my free dining package by phone because of course that was the only option open to us when we booked using our Disney Visa(when they first opened up the special). So I was wondering if anyone that got in touch with Disney received any responses in ref to the 5x7 picture?

Anyone rebook their package to get the 5x7? or are you guys forgetting it?.

Thanks

They have'nt sent me a response yet, probably some time this week. But I will keep everyone posted when I do. I really don't think I am going to cancell and rebook for the pic. Seems like to much trouble for me. Now if they do refuse to give me the pic, I may transfer this package over to a TA if I can and let them pay the TA some commission. Spite, its wonderful is'nt it.:rotfl::rotfl:

Isn't there still a free 5 x 7 at the meet and greet at Epcot? We have done this in the apst and have gone more than once druing our trip. Just show your Disney Visa card when you get in the line. :cool2:
