Hi
Just wanted to say that we had a fab holiday last week- we got a free car upgrade at the airport and managed to get a better room allocation at the enclave suites, we had stayed here before and last time paid to upgrade to a top floor room with a hugh balcony over looking wet and wild. Only problem was very loud air con! Well we got the same room again without having to pay more money and bought ear plugs!!

I would suggest that anyone due to stay at this hotel ask at reception for a different room, if your are not happy as the one we initially had was very dated.

The flight was fine, I had my kindle and the men had i pads.

The weather, well we all know how wonderful that feels to be walking about at night not having to think about coats and jumpers!

We had a great time and if you have been to Florida a few times it is possible to go for a week. It helped that we had ap for sea world and universal( they have updated spiderman btw) We made sure that we stayed awake all day Friday which sorts out the jet lag.

Made a mistake doing disney on the sat, we just looked at which day it was open longest!! Next time will go during the week.
Thank you for all the help and advice I was given by the DIS
Michelle

Glad you had a great trip. We are back now too.

I definitely felt 7 days was worth doing - very much hit the ground running. We did disney tuesday and thursday - was busier than October but very manageable.

Im really pleased to hear of others that are saying a wk is worth it!
we have only ever gone for 2 or 3 wks at a time, and have always been worried that a wk would be so dissapointing and we wouldnt get much done! same with a 10 day trip,
Now we normally only get to go once every 2 years so a wks trip IMO isnt worth it with the flight price unless a great last min deal HOWEVER im saying this as from next May we are hoping to be at our 1st stateside posting and Only 2half hours flight away from Disney :woohoo::woohoo:
What we are most looking forward to amongst other stuff is that fact we would be able to take shorter trips as we could go more often like a few times a yr for a wk at a time,My DM wont be with us on these trips since she will be living in the UK still and so we wont have to pay out for 2 rooms which my god bumps up the price :scared1: But i figure she paid out to take me to Disney as a child nearly every yr and now it my turn to repay her:thumbsup2

Sorry for long kind of random post its just great to hear that short trips are worth it to!:)

how exciting for you! I would look into buying ap for sea world and universal as they are very reasonable my dh has a pass that includes parking at universal and seaworld parking is included in the ap.

With disney we have always opted for the non expiry tickets which come with the water park options

We got back nearly 2 weeks ago and went for 11 nights, we only ever go for 2 or 3+ usually (did a week once and wouldn't hesitate to do it again) it felt like we had been there for 2 weeks and had a great time. We got such a cheap deal booking last minute we're debating whether or not to do the same next year.

We've done 5 days and 14 days and everything in-between. The short trips have always been before or after a cruise. The way we look at it is there is NO WAY you can every do everything every trip and that we'll always be going back ...... some day (pg) pixiedust:

Glad to hear you had a great time :) We may squeeze a 7 day late deal in sometime next year (if there's any good deals about!!!)
