Disneyland that has a kitchenette in it.. last time i was there was 1984, and i remember how the area around disney scared me okay i was a preteen.. it just seemed so run down.. im looking into Homewood Suites by Hilton on 12005 Harbor Boulevard it is acually in garden grove

The area is improved from the last time you were there. Homewood Suites is down the street about 2 miles from Disneyland, and there are a lot of hotels near it.

Also consider the Residence Inns - one on Harbor is the Resort Area, and one on Clementine is Maingate. I prefer Maingate, but a lot of people prefer the Resort Area.

We stayed at Residence Inn Resort Area this past April for a week. We had a 2 br Suite and for 6 of us (me, DH, Sis, her DH and 2 nieces) it was plenty of room. Had a full sized kitchen which we used every morning to fix breakfast. The place was very clean and all the staff we came into contact with were quite friendly. They also have a breakfast buffet down in the main lobby/lounge area every morning. We're heading back in a couple of weeks and have reservations for Homewood Suites, don't know about this actual property as it will be our first stay with them, but we've stayed at several others on our travels and have enjoyed them. The kitchen is bigger at Residence Inn, not sure if that matters to you though.
