Found out about this product this morning. The SensorScope, not cheap but looks like it would be the ticket to see what's on your sensor accurately. I have trouble getting the light positioned just right and the magnifying glass so I can see the sensor.
It actually attaches to the camera body and has 5x magnification and LED lights built in.
