can you guys believe we missed all this stuff:
Poohs Adventures (I loved Toad as a girl)
Ariel's Grotto (was not about to stand in that line!! biggest line all week!!!)
Fantasmic (rain and no hoppers and no time to go back!!)
WWTBAM
Lights motor action!!! my dh is such a car freak too :(
the backlot tour

all of WS except Japan( we had ADR's at Teppanyaki)
FWF sampling!! can you believe it??? OMG~~once again not enough time
Country Bear Jamboree
MNSSHP

Tarzan Rocks
Kali RR

we missed a lot at the Poly too, I am sure!!

and we were there for 4 days open to close almost every day but AK day, couldn't take it anymore!! LOL

Most of AK...once again got there late 10 am and closed at 5!!! Not enough time!!!

We would have missed a lot of FL or MK but we stayed there til 11pm on an EMH so we did FL the night before our MK trip...

confirming to me onr thing:
we need more time at WDW!!!

Holy cow I have got about 4 days worth of stuff we missed to do next time!!!!

This is why we are going for 10 days this year...

not to mention DTD, water parks, Cirque (which I LOVE in Las Vegas!!!)

geesh..we call ourselves Disney lovers... :teeth:

My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE all that educational stuff at EPCOT and we missed SOOOOO Much of it all!!!

I can't even tell you what we missed!!

We were there in mid-December '05. We didn't miss too much this trip and we didn't feel rushed! It was a miracle! It really helped that the lines were pretty short at most things. I think the only ride I didn't get on that I wanted to was Rock 'n Rollercoaster. DH and DD got on. We got to see most of the shows and parades I wanted to see. When we were at Disney World about three years ago we rushed around and I know we missed tons. I just wish I could afford to go 3-4 times a year! I can never get enough of it!

Just think of it as an excuse to go back! Gotta see the things you missed! :rotfl2:

wow thats a BIG list

exactly as poster above said

just go back again!!!
:thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Oh my. I'm embarrassed to post what all we missed! And our trip was 7.5 days long. Of course, we missed a whole day getting a dental emergency tended to, and another half day sleeping in because our flight got in at 4 am!

Here's a sampling of the shameful list:

Spectromagic Parade :guilty:
Wishes (only saw parts of it)
Illuminations :guilty:
Beauty and the Beast at MGM
Kali River Rapids
our dinner at Whispering Canyon
seeing Daisy (we tried)

I agree w/previous posters who pointed out that this merely gives one an excuse to go back!

We hit everything at MK at least once and many lots of times, but then we spent 5 of our 10 days there. At Epcot we missed Mission Space, Test Track, Journey into imagination, and Honey I shrunk the Kids. From Disney Studios we missed Rockin Roller Coaster, Backlot Tour, Indiana Jones, and Lights Motor Action. From AK we missed Tough to be a bug, Dinosaur, and Kali River Rapids. Unfortunately we missed Pooh's Thoughtful Spot by meer days, they were previewing it for employees only. Some of the things we missed we'll get this trip some may have to wait until dd is a little older.

This is what I missed on our 7 day trip back in Nov.

MK:
Country Bear Jamboree
Hall of Presidents
Tiki Birds
Stitch: purposefully ha
Toontown Hall of Fame Princesses(line too long)
Timekeeper (wasn't open)

Epcot:
Off Kilter
Chair servers act in France

AK:
parade

MGM:
The Great Movie Ride
WWTBAM

/
On my last trip, there was several things that I didn't do but there was only a few things that I missed that I had planned on doing.
MK- Wishes
Swiss Family Treehouse (for my DS)

EPCOT - Spaceship Earth
Illuminations
Ice Station Cool (was closed for renovation)

MGM - Indy Jones (in all of our trips, I don't think my DW has seen this yet)

AK - As far as I can recall, we did everything we wanted to do here.

HA! This will be our 12th trip, (DD8's 8th trip) and my 'still haven't seen yet' list is almost as long!!

Just a real good reason to keep going back! This year, we went ahead and bought the AP, so I plan to work on that list!

we spent too much time doing ADR's and sit down meals on the dining plan...we missed several MGM shows because of eating and poor scheduling on my part@@@

We missed a TON of attractions on our first visit - which was 4 days. Then we went back 2 years later and stayed for 7 nights and still missed some attractions! We stayed in the parks from early morning until late at night and still ran out of time!! Isn't that crazy??

But like other posters mentioned, it means we have to go back! :thumbsup2 So now I'm busy planning the next trip. :teeth:

We stayed for 10 whole days last year and we missed gobs!!!

Illuminations
Beauty and the Beast
Muppets 3D
Stunt Show
Backlot Tour
The Judges Tent
A Bugs Life
Stars and Cars Parade
Mission Space

I am sure there is even more still, but we were there for 10 days!! You just simply can not see or do everything... I guess I wouldn't want to, it always gives me an excuse to go back (not that I really need much of an excuse ;) )

I have a confession to make. We were in WDW for 11 days (although 2 of them were at Universal - sorry :ssst: ) and we never saw the 'Share A Dream....' parade :bitelip:  I know, I know, tell me about it, I'm SO mortified! But it just never came together, we were either too tired, too late, I dunno, it was a sucky time of day in that heat (June/July).

We missed lots of other stuff too. But we also saw/did LOADS of things including most of the biggies and we had the best holiday ever.

Ah, I look back fondly at our lists of 'must do' and 'probably do' attractions and at our, ahem, itinerary, and I laugh at our innocence, :lmao: bless our hearts, poor dumb eejits that we were. But the theme parks are BIG and beautiful and we wanted to SEE them, not just rip through them - we would have lost our minds running around them at a commando rate with 3 kids. As much as I love the Unofficial Guide I cannot imagine EVER achieving as much as they claim you can, not when you're stopping every 10 friggin seconds to tie laces, go potty, get drinks, open drinks, mop up spilled drinks, fix squabbles, apply sunblock, find tickets, buy stuff, adjust stroller straps, find tickets again, change diapers and then of course it's lunch time  and so on and so on........ :teeth:

I just couldn't believe how fast time went in WDW! Phenomenal. Now I KNOW that we're slow in the morning because it took us over 2 hours to get out the door most days and this stressed us out but next time, instead of trying to get out in 1 hour I'll just accept that it takes two and so be it. It takes what it takes!

Can't wait to take care of all unfinished business at WDW :woohoo:

DID EVERYONE IN YOUR PARTY HAVE A GOOD TIME????? If they did, you did it all, and that leaves you with another trip to WDW.....if they didn't then you should have skipped some of the things you did see and went to someof the others you didn't!!!

I see another trip to WDW in every other posters life....as well as mine! As long as everyone had a good time .... that's what it is all about!

We went for 2 weeks last May. I thought that would be plenty of time. I planned and planned for about 3 months leading up to our trip.

Our group included me, DW, 5DD, Dad, Mom, Sis, niece, MIL, & grandmother-in-law.

At the last minute everybody changed their plans. MIL decided not to go at all.

Week 1 was me, DW, 5DD, Dad, Mom and GMIL. My mom & dad flew home at the end of week 1 instead of staying for both weeks.

Week 2 was me DW, 5DD, GMIL, Sis, niece. My parents flew out Sat morning and my Sis and her 2DD flew in Sat afternoon.

So instead of us having 2 full weeks to do as much as we could, I found myself breaking our trip into two duplicate weeks so the others could see as much as possible.

DW and I decided we'll never do that again. We'll stick to our plans. If others decide to change their plans then tough for them.

BTW, notice that GMIL was there for both weeks. She's a trooper. She's a frail, petite lady of 87 years and she kept up with us the whole time. She had a blast.

I guess the point of all that was that we ended up missing quite a bit that we had planned to do.

But we'll catch it next time!

Fantasmic (rain and no hoppers and no time to go back!!)
So sorry you missed out on Fantasmic; it's so fantastic! We saw it March '05. However, on 1/24/06 we were at MGM and noticed a queue forming outside Beauty and the Beast around 5:00 pm. (I was in line to buy popcorn while my husband was riding TOT, playing the switch-off game). I suspected that folks were lining up for Fantasmic, and I thought, "Surely not!" When I asked popcorn dude what all the fuss was about, he verified that my suspicions were true! I couldn't believe it! I missed RRC last spring, so it was a toss-up. After we both rode the rockinest roller coaster on earth, we were turned away from Fantasmic by the security guy. Amazing. All this in January, are you KIDDING me?! That's what we get for trying for those Extra Magic Hours...
