Wow, it looks like I've missed a few since I last checked in. Aidensmom, your DH is so that guy from Yes Dear! LOL, that is a great match! You remind me of someone too, gotta put my thinking cap on though.

We got our Christmas family photo done tonight (better late than never)! For those of you not sick of seeing our mugs, here's my family:

DH looks a little stoned in this pic, not sure what was up with that?! In every pic he was either closing his eyes or looking out of it....which is weird because he usually looks the exact same on every picture.

So I was torn between the above, with a stoned DH, and this one, where my youngest son is doing the surprised look. I swear, I envy those families who can get a family portrait where everyone is looking good in the same pic!

Which one would you have picked? I'm not wild about either picture but I'm torn because I need them for cards...and of course I'm right down to the wire, as usual. Gotta pick one or try doing the shots again in the next couple of days, which I'm definately NOT looking forward to.

It's not a *great* match, but there's something about your eyes that remind of Jennifer Tilly. Slightly flirtatious/come hitherish. Part of the difficulty is that I do think you look like Tilly in other ways, but she's such a chameleon it's hard to pinpoint exactly how:

Lovely family. Top one for me...hands down. I think you and your husband look the same in both. But the boys are best in the top one IMO. They look at little more relaxed. Such cute boys. Also, your husband's hands around them is showing in the top one which is nice.

Funny, his old babysitter used to tell us that a lot. He has slightly different coloring - blonder hair and no freckles but that same impish little face. Lets hope he grows up to be as talented (and rich!) as Ron Howard!

Thanks. I think we are going to go with that one. I did suggest to DH we go try again tomorrow somewhere else (the people tonight were just AWFUL...but that is another story for another thread!). Anyway, he said no way in HELL was he going to be doing this again, LOL. So I guess its a stoned DH for the Christmas cards this year.....

We thought about doing one on our front step too. But of course we waited until the last minute again this year and then it snowed and we just never got motivated to do it. Every year I say I am going to get the perfect shot for Christmas and never do we actually do it. Its like the Norman Rockwell Christmas...a nice thought, but someone else's reality.
