Hello All
Does anyone know the best way to request Samoa longhouse for our stay at the Poly next week? Do you call or email? :confused3
Any help..:goodvibes
Thank you
Janet

It should be requested on your reservation. So I would call and have them put a room request on ressie. If a travel agent made your reservations then they would have to call for you. They will tell you it's a request and not a guarantee.

Janet,

It's also a good idea to show up early in the day if possible. Requests on your ressies are fine but it comes down to first come, first served.

Just because you have a request on your ressie they are not going to save a room in the Samoa until you check-in. The CM's are very good at giving available requests to guests who are standing in front of them.

Call central reservations and have them add the room request to your reservastion. That way when it gets downloaded into the Poly's system it is there. And then you can always "mention" it again at check-in.

Also I would list other longhouses that you would be happy with. Samoa is one of the smallest.

We have requested Samoa both times that we stayed at the Poly and had no problems in getting it (we had the request put on our reservation and then I mentioned it again at check in).

I've done it all. I request it on the reservation, and if you want a balcony ask for 1st or 3rd floor, I have faxed a little note, not too wordy and I have also made sure I checked in way before 2 pm at the latest. We got the bldg. twice.
