Long Time Lurker, New Poster Here

Hi, everyone! I've lurked the boards for awhile now and have finally decided to join.

I'm Sam (short for Samantha) and I'm from CT. I'm 23 and I've been a Disney fan for as long as I can remember. Sadly, I have never been to Disney, but I'm hoping to change that in 2016-2017! I'm beyond excited to join this board and can't wait to start planning my first trip!

I highly recommend going to Disneyland in California for your first visit. All of the parks are wonderful but there is a special magic to the original park.

Thanks for the recommendation! Disneyland might actually be the better choice. It seems more manageable / less overwhelming than WDW for a first timer like myself.

Also a long time lurker... planned my first Disney trip with major help from DIS three years ago (went to MK, not DL). We had an amazing trip, mostly thanks to what I learned here!
