Hi all, I have lurked around here for two years, and have spent countless hours hunting for info on here, and have taken two unbelieveable trips to DL because of this forum.

My wife, myself, and our 4 and 5 year old kids are going to DL with Grandma. She is so much fun, but snores really loud. We need a Family Suite that has a sitting room with a pull out sofa, along with a room with at least 2 queens. I have seen some cool family suites in the past that have bunk beds, that look fun, but my mom needs her own room to sleep in. We would like breakfast on site if possible (doesnt need to be free)

A very short walk would be amazing, but shuttles are usuallly fine too. $180 to $200 per night our target.

We stayed at the Staybridge suites a couple of years ago, and it was very nice, but it seemed so dang far away from the park.

I like to be able to go back to the park by myself after the kids are in bed, and use up all the fast passes we collected all day long :cool1:

Thanks Disboards!

It's not walking distance, but we stayed at the marriot residence inn last time we went. The ART that served it went straight down harbor and had only one other stop. Plus there were nearby hotels with other ART routes (within a quarter mile) so there were lots of shuttle options.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite which had one bedroom with bunkbeds for the kids, one bedroom with a king, and a pull out full-sized sleeper sofa in the living room area (so 3 different sleeping areas). We also had 2 full bathrooms and a small kitchen. The best part was the AMAZING breakfast. We would fill up on that and then not be hungry until mid afternoon, snack then, and get dinner later or get an early dinner in the park and then snack later. Saved a ton on food!

I can't remember offhand what we paid, got a good deal, I think it was around $150. And we bought via AAA and were able to get a family ART pass for 5 days for something like $35 (and there were 6 of us).

The Annabelle would fit your needs, the bigger rooms come with breakfast, and have a seperate bedroom and sleep sofa in the main room. Check it out it is really nice, and usually about $134-$155 for a room like that.

It's not super close, walkable yes but ART is available too.

Depending how 'fancy' you want, contact the Camelot Inn. We stayed there in 05 at a 2 room suite. 1 large bed in the main room and 2 beds in the second room. The only drawback was there's only one bathroom. Small pool area (on 4th floor) but 'very' close. :thumbsup2

Carousel Inn and Tropicana are both right across the street. I think the Best Westerns there have suites too with "breakfast" (not as extensive of a breakfast as the suites down Harbor, but it's something).

I also like Residence Inn, but both are not an easy walking distance. Portofino Inn and Suites is closer. All the suites I know of are farther down Harbor: Embassy Suites, Doubletree, Marriott Suites, Homewood Suites.

And just a word of caution if grandma has never slept on a pull out sofa. The ones that we've had in the past, are basically for kids under 10. One child.
I'm not sure that my back would thank me after a night on a sofa bed.

As for sofa beds, I find them more comfortable if you put the mattress on the ground to sleep!

Check out the Park Vue Inn! It's right across the street and has free breakfast. We are getting a two room suite that sleeps 6 total! The second bedroom has just one bed in it. We are going next June and it's $144 a night so that's right in your target and literally right across the street!

I second this suggestion. However we got the Parlor A suite and it has a pull out couch in one room and two queens in the other. We paid $79 a night!! The room is not fancy but it serves its purpose. Good luck!
