Long Term Parking

Do any of you know of a place around Orlando or Kissimmee that offers monthly overnight parking? Since the rental car rates are so high I am tossing around the idea of bringing my spare car down to Orlando and leaving it. That way I wont have to rent a car. I can just Uber to the parking spot. However all the places I found want approx. $100 a month. If I can find something under $50 then it will be worth it.

Ooohhh I didn't even think about that. If I park it in Florida would it be consider as being "garaged" their even if my home base in not ? I guess I will need to call StateFarm.

$100 a month does not seem that outrageous. It’s like three dollars a day. I would expect asking for anything around $50 a month is unreasonable.

Call your local SF agent, just tell them you are considering it and that you have not done it, you don't want it recorded on your account in anyway.

Probably also depends on how often you go to Disney, seems you would have to make multiple trips each year to make the math work. If storage costs $1,200/year + the cost to get your car there and eventually return it (hotels, gas, etc.), would have to compare that to the cost of rentals or online taxis. Appears the OP lives far enough away from Disney, that just driving there when on vacation isn't practical. Cars that sit in storage for lengthy periods also require certain type of maintenance and/or the battery will likely go dead. I would also be wary of some cut-rate storage area that might flood during a hurricane. Typically car insurance will be lower if you list it as being in 'storage' and not being driven. Actual rates vary by insurance company, so would have to call to see what rates your company offers.
