Was able to get over to Magic Kingdom this morning to meet the "Long Lost Friends". I updated our blog with pics from the meet & greets.

Thanks for posting pictures! Were these the only four groups meeting? In the blog announcement last week they hinted that there would be other characters out meeting too and I was hoping that they would have at least a couple of other characters there.

Also, how were the crowds, wait times? I will be there this weekend at rope drop and want to get an idea of how long the lines will be.

Yep these were it. Mary Poppins was out, but she's normally out.

If you are there at rope drop I'd suggest Robin Hood & Chicken Little first. With them being in the middle the lines were longest. Song if the South next, then Shadowman.

We skipped Robin Hood group, and were done in 15 minutes but we were in line at 8:55 AM just as soon as ropes dropped.

Also,are they out all day? Going down saturday and DH loves shadowman.

They are out first thing at 9AM until 4:30 I believe. No later than 5PM for sure.

They are all right in front of the park. Robin Hood & Chickem Little are at Flagpole. Song of the South group in front of Tonys. Shadowman is kind of hidden, by exit for Mickeys Town Square Theatre meet. Just outside that exit.

Going tomorrow heard chewy was out this afternoon, kids are looking forward to the day. Sounds like it may be a random character for the 5th group in the afternoon.

That would be really random. I wonder if that's true or not. I took off by 10AM and didn't see him but that would be cool. He's one of the most popular characters at Star Wars Weekends.

thanks for sharing. Wish we had seen some unusual characters while there a couple of weeks ago, but can't be there for everything. I always say it is another reason to go back when we miss anything!

Drove over today and met the four groups. The Brer's were the best great interaction. Got all within a little over an hour after arriving just after rope drop. Went by about 1:30 and no 5 th group. It was about to storm, and they left because of lightning. It was off and on rain until 5:00 so I am not sure how the afternoon went. It was great to have to get some rare characters pretty quickly. It was funny though most people walking around out front had no idea about this Limited Time Magic.

Luckily the lines this round do not seem to be as long as the first time; as long as it doesn't rain you should hopefully get to meet them all.

My daughter loves Chicken Little and meeting characters but I'm fairly certain she would have ran away screaming at Abby Mallard! Heck, I may have too.
