We live in Wyoming and we were wondering if many people travel that distance with their campers to camp at FW. It will take us 4 days to get there. Just wondering what others did. Thanks. :thanks: :disrocks:

We used travel 1250 miles, and did that 5 times in one year. I have since started my medication ... and bought a house 30 miles from FW ... both helped.

My only comment would be to try and plan to get to FW fairly early the last day. Trying to get settled, exspecially with a MH, Fiver, or TT, late in the evening can be a strain. Our first trip to FW was in a 36' Journey, and we got there just at dusk. Not fun, especially since I had no clue what i was doing.

Good luck in your travels ...

John

We are going from Denver this summer....planning on 2-3 days. Our first day I plan to get to the campground about 2 set up and then relax and start the parks the next day. We are tent camping we'll have to see how it goes!!

We do it every year from wisconsin,it's the only way my kids will go to FW.

Were on our way from St. louis for the fourth time in march!!:thumbsup2 This time though, the the trailer grew from watering it in storage! 32 FT!!

I'll be driving from Oregon to Orlando in March and camping along the way. Can't wait. Fort Wilderness is our favorite campground.
