Long Beach airport instead of LAX

We are going in April and last time I flew into that horrid LAX I say horrid just cause I was the only driver with two kids and it was so big and busy!

This time we are looking at other options in terms of flights and we can fly into Long Beach for less. How is the commute to Anaheim in comparison and are the highways easier to manage from LB?

or even john wayne airport is good. Both are less busy, one might be a bit cheaper than the other so check the rates.

We booked 6 flights from Seattle to Long Beach. It was a great price. Costs us about $1400 Cad. Into John Wayne would have been 1 1/2 times this price so definate savings on Alaska, when I booked anyway, into LB. We could have flown into LAX at the same price but I sure like the idea of flying into a less busy airport with less highway naviagation to get to DL.
