Ooooo. That's cool. Only thing is, I have an iPod touch, not an iPhone. I wonder if you can use it strictly via the keyboard, without a microphone?
Sayhello
, laptop, and kindle. Very easy to maneuver and fits perfectly in the overhead bin.
This weekend Mike and I gave our new luggage a test run. I'm thrilled to say, it's amazing!![]()
The eBags Mother Lode carry on had enough room for a weekend's worth of chlothes, 5 pairs of shoes![]()

Isn't the eBags Mother Lode carry on fabulous? I really love mine! I bought the next larger size for my checked bag, although I don't think I'll have a chance to dry-run it before the trip. But if it's half as good as the carry-on, I'm good to go!This weekend Mike and I gave our new luggage a test run. I'm thrilled to say, it's amazing!![]()

The TravelPro duffel.... all I can say is WOW! That's huge! We took it virtually empty, and on the return trip was filled with all of my shopping purchases from the weekend. I usually ship things back, however everything fit in the bag with room for more!![]()

Has anyone mentioned lately.......
WE'RE GOING TO PARIS!!!!!! In 5 months!!!!!!![]()

That gives Mike plenty of time to buy more electronics for the trip.![]()

Jeff, he claims his iPad purchase will eliminate some of what he needs to bring on the trip, like a laptop.
I think I'm going to start a pool..... will Mike bring a laptop to Europe or just the iPad??????![]()

Don't forget the voltage converters and plug adapters.

ABD does request that you keep it to one suitcase and one carry on per person.
As there are some of us that might want to shop....<cough cough>....while in London and Paris, you might want to consider packing a lightweight duffel bag.
and all i seem to be thinking about is luggage for a trip that is still some months away. How hard is this one bag limit
i have now read the ABD website a number of times, and had convinced myself that they were really talking about what would be allowed on a plane
Qantas will apparently let me cart 140 lbs to and from London - seems such a waste to not use it all (at least on the way back....)Hmm, it's 2am hereand all i seem to be thinking about is luggage for a trip that is still some months away. How hard is this one bag limit

I am going to Miami, Orlando, and Atlanta next week for just over a week, and I am looking at two suitcases, a carryon, and a technology bag staring at me from the corner of the lounge room.
Time to start reassessing my need for clothes it seems...

London tube stations to get Wi-Fi
Roy Greenslade
This is good news... I think. Then again, maybe it's a gimmick that will have lit tle practical benefit.
Lon don Underground is seeking to have Wi-Fi installed on 120 stations by the time of next year's London Olympics.
Transport for London (TfL) has asked for tenders from telecoms companies to make the installations. The bidder will be chosen by the end of 2011, giving the winning company some six months to get the network up and running.
It follows a successful trial at Charing Cross tube station run by BT.
The first phase of the roll-out would involve extending a system already in use for staff at 16 stations to the wider public.
London's mayor Boris Johnson said the installations "will allow Londoners to use mobile devices to pick up their emails, access social media sites and stay in touch with the world above while they traverse our subterranean transport network".
The service will not operate on trains, however.
