Me again! I finally bit the bullet and booked our airfare. We're getting in around 7am on the 1st and leaving just after noon on the 10th. Wish I could stay a few extra days, but after 10 days with the kids, I think my parents will be ready for us to come home!

I've been looking up some info about theater in London. I'd love to catch another show in addition to the Lion King. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you are stuck at home on an "ice day". Maybe I will even finally figure out how to make a ticker and edit my signature!

Laurie

I also want to catch another show when we're in London. I'm trying to decide if it is something that I want to preplan and already have tickets for...or just want to wing it. I've did a little research but have not gotten serious about it yet.

Hey, there's a good chance I may be walking in Versailles. Depends on how the back is doing (I normally bike with a recumbent bicycle. Regular bikes generally kill my back). So anyone else who doesn't want to bike, we can Unite!

A very important message for everyone on this adventure........

My husband LOVES his video cameras! It's why most people think I'm shy and quiet...... :rolleyes1 I've finally learned how to avoid the camera! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

It's because every time the camera points at her, she does this...

:lmao:

Kevin will NOT be riding a bike.

I'm going to go with the "bad knee" excuse.

If the man with the forehead camera video taped me riding a bike, I'd have to murder him and then I'd end up in the Bastille and I'm pretty sure singing the soundtrack to Les Mis will make me unpopular (cause that's what we do in the Bastille).

Noooo bike riding.

Nope.

Not gonna happen.

No way.

Out of the question.

Forget it.

Just reading all of the shows that are available on the Leicester Square ticket booth is making me drool. I am also tempted to see an actual Shakespearean play at the Globe. It sounds like alot of fun. They are doing Much Ado About Nothing while we're there.

I can already tell I'm going to have a hard time narrowing things down!

Laurie

That number is correct as of right now.

That could change soon.....

John and I are new homeowners!!!!!

The closing was yesterday.:banana::banana:

:cool1: :cool1: :thumbsup2

Great news! When do you guys move in?

The Ice Bar looks really cool! :rotfl2: Becx, are you available to give directions??? :rolleyes1

I can certainly help get you there, afterwards though you're on your own :drinking1

All the great food and good wine talk here is tempting me SO MUCH....

:rolleyes1

Do it! ::yes::

The Ice Bar looks wicked cool! :cool1:

Literally ;)

I get to see you and Gav again???:banana::banana:
I had so much fun when I spent time with you guys at Animal Kingdom, that I regret not "finding" you on the cruise. I really did a lot of stuff on my own there. It will be fantastic to see you guys again.

We'll definately be in London :woohoo: I'm seeing if we can afford a couple of nights at DLRP too :goodvibes It will be great to see you again (and everyone else :grouphug:). We had a fab time with you :thumbsup2

OMG, for a second there, it looked like the airfare was almost $500 cheaper from Dayton! Then I saw that it had taken LHR as the "departure" for 9/10. D'oh! The LHR roundtrip has always been way cheaper.

But nope, Dayton is exactly the same price as Columbus for Continental and almost all the other airlines. So no go there. Only $50 cheaper for United, which is not worth the extra time & gas. And the drive to Indy is just way too long. I'd need to drive & stay overnight. The airfare would need to be SERIOUSLY less for me to do that.

Nope, Indy is $20 more! I think I'm doomed to pay $1455 out of Columbus! That's the cheapest right now (except for Delta, which is $14 cheaper, and SO not worth the $14!).

Arrrrgh! This is so hard. This is almost as much as last year's ticket to Spain with a side trip to Israel!

At least with the trip, it was just a "Yes" or "No" decision. One price. Not getting any cheaper. *This* is rough!

ACK!

Sayhello

Good luck with the flights, they seem to be very expensive this year. We were looking at flights to WDW in Dec and it's at least £500 each, a few years ago you could get 2 flights for around that :sad2:

Wicked is always a good choice....and I have not seen Les Miserables in years...

Hey...wait a minute...I'm part of that too. When did I get brought into it? :rotfl: I'm was going to go with the story that I can ride a bike very gracefully...:lmao:

I blame the man with the forehead camera! I know I have pics of him riding his bicycle. I should post those. :stir:

Ding! I think we have a winner. I'm not that excited about seeing The Lion King again, and I'd really love to see this show!

I think I need to learn that lesson. He managed to capture embarrassing moments. :rotfl2:

Yay! Others are interested in Wicked, too!

Watch out for his fluffy cam, Lori!!!!

Just a note that Whoopi's Sister Act show might still be playing in London while you guys are there. I heard it fantastic!

I'd love to see Wicked again, but not *instead* of the Lion King! I'm really looking forward to seeing that again, especially with the VIP seating & backstage stuff. I'd be definitely up to seeing Wicked in *addition* to LK!

A common conversation with Mike and Christy as they walk through Epcot:

Mike: Can we go in the Camera Center?
Christy: Honey, you brought the Camera Center!

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Cracks me up everytime I think about it!!
