London Hotel Question...

Hello. I am looking for opinions about or experiences with the Ambassador's Hotel - Bloomsbury in London.

Don't know that one, but in Bloomsbury, about a block from the Russell Square station, is the Harlingford. Great place, highly reviewed. We've stayed there for about 28 years. Plan on doing so this year. I think they have a web-site, so you can check on them.

Actually, we are staying at the Strand Palace - but any information would be helpful.

p.s. I'm bringing 10 students (15-18) with me.

You have a lot of kids? Actually, sounds like a school tour. When you going? You from the States also? Make sure you read a lot of these posts, lots of real good info. Plus, two different London Dis Meets in the next month or so.

We are going in March (20-27) during our school's spring break.

Ah yes - The Strand Palace is a place I know VERY well - my mates wife was the Hospitality Manageress there - woo hoo!


Alas, she's moved on.....oh, info about the hotel you ask!

Lovely position on the Strand - excellent for trips into central london.

They have a great champagne and cocktail bar the rear of the hotel.

Food in the hotel can be pricey as they appear to cater for the business traveller.

Are all the students staying there too?

You may want to know that you only have to be 18 get served alcohol over here.
