Lombards vs Finnegans?

Cant get away from the Disney mentality of "we must plan all our meals"..which would you choose for your day at Universal studios?

Finnegan's hands down. I mean if you're a super seafood fan go with Lombard's. But Finnegan's menu has much more of a variety to choose from, and anything at Lombard's you can find at your local Red Lobster. Plus, I just really love the soda bread and apple butter at Finnegan's.

I second this. We almost ate at Lombards a few weeks ago but the menu did not appeal to us again. Plus I don't know if it was just us but it smelt fishy in there. Most seafood won't smell fishy if you know what I mean.

I havent eaten at Finnegans, but I would try that..Lombards was MEH at best, mediocre food and poor servce

Well it seems we are in the minority. We much prefer Lombards to Finnegans. Everyone has different tastes. We also prefer the atmosphere at Lombards when we want a comfortable break from the parks.

If you're from a area of the country with good seafood (like Boston or New Orleans), you won't be impressed by Lombards.

For some reason we`ve missed Finnegans out last couple of years, but the menu is really lovely and we`re going to go back one day this trip...but we don`t plan......it`ll just be day that we`re there and hungry.

That`s the reason we ate at Lombards on previous trips....we were close by.

It was lovely the first time but now it`s not somewhere we would rush to go back to. Nice enough place though and the food was ok, lovely atmosphere and good service when we were there.

Funnily enough I never think of Lombards as a proper Seafood restaurant......If we want real seafood we eat offsite at several places around Orlando.

So I would choose Finnegans OP

Okay, we'll have to check this place out. My daughter will love it just for the bread, and she'll equally love getting to torture me because I eat low carb!
